Saw a few eps so far and recommend it the fl lead Sophia gets the gorilla god's blessing and obviously is not the most happy about it and ends up giving a knight exam and ing .

As story progresses she learns how nice the power is .

The FL is well written why because see it's frustrating to see a weak fl but at same time instead of being just dumb or weakling sophia is a little sensible she Overthinks situations a little and anytime she hesitates it's due to the understanding of other person 's reason behind that action and while ... at first it may seems annoying that why is she not using her power Sophia is not misusing her power she understands others pov she is a more realistic fl who is considering situations and is puzzled and unable to take decision due to that but unlike other fls .

Sophia is clear about her feelings she doesn't let petty bullying get to her she trusts others easily but she realises their behaviour . Like when the other girls are angry at her she knows it's due to her being close to the hot guys at the school talking only to her which makes sense that if there's handsome boys and they're friends and talk with only one girl they're bound to be jealous.

Sophia is the one who wants a quiet life obviously she won't live quietly but she over the series Takes action when needed she waits for right opportunity and time she understands others feelings well and has good heart . Sophia is the kind of fl who understands, thinks , and while she appears weak despite power she simply uses her power when needed - like the bomb incident or when she helped the doggy powered boy from his fear of height and saved his life or when she later in an episode saves Eddy .

I love how the Male charachters are written in this story omg in most stories where the fl has more than 1 male friends it turns into a harem competition or jealousy competition each episode which becomes annoying but This anime no no you have male charachters so well written.

The ml is clear from the start is your this guy whose a knight and he does not discriminate or gets petty jealous when other boys are more powerful or near fl . He encourages and compliments the boys on their good work .
• He is not like the strict face egoistic ml who acts tough but rather a knight who takes his duty seriously while also spending time with his friends.

• the confession will also come sooner in story which I love most stories go for the ml or fo being dumb who can't figure out their feelings or talk it out but not this one you've 16yr old being honest to themselves and confessing their feelings .

I love this anime because nothing is overdone at start fl seems annoying but later she adapts with her blessing and becomes strong .

The cheap bully like girl villian also apologise or realise their bad behaviour and that when they went to far a lot of story shows girls not realising that they were going to far which clearly you can tell they knew they were crossing boundaries and I love our fL while forgiving them and accepting their apology doesn't immediately go super friendly with them .

Our fl values her peaceful life plan and maintains her knight and student life separately.

Both fl and Ml are not this toxic jealousy dynamic who get jealous when the other talks to other gender which is so good because guys let's normalise people in relationship having other gender friend y'all behave as if talking= cheating.

The charachters are written so well honestly the anime shows romantic feelings without adding too much jealousy or males fighting with each other drama .

There's little comedy , romance and everything.

“It's sad to see you all see 2 or 3 episodes and declare the fl annoying like yeah omg she's annoying she's not using her power she just got , omg she's annoying she's understanding others reasons behind their actions or omg look the fl is overthinking ", Y'all simply want the fl to be like angry bird kind doing action all the time and hate fls who are understanding, weak etc

Sophia is the fl who may seem annoying but from her pov she doesn't want attention, her power is one embarassing one and unique for a girl like I have Gorilla 🦍 god's blessing who says that , she didn't want to be a knight but her power she uses it when it comes to helping others her power + kindness is what helps her be so amazing she's a precious fl and the ml and other male charachters are so well written theirs not over jealousy or over possesive ml both charachters behave like actual 16yr old and it's so refreshing to see this anime .

In fantasy superpower romance highschool love story this anime is like a breath of fresh air so simple at times but so nice no dirt no bad written charachters .

The movie "Attack On Titan: The Last Attack" was incredible, and I just finished watching it.

Character development is given in a fantastic way as the series comes to a close thanks to the nearly flawless execution of the plot, characters, and everything building up to the climax.

The fact that they made this movie in the first place makes me very delighted.

Any fan of Attack on Titan should, in my opinion, see this, especially if they can see it in a theater.

I think this movie is deserving of a perfect score. But This doesn't mean that the film is flawless, ... but it will undoubtedly be regarded as a work of fiction and as a fitting conclusion to Attack on Titan's story.

It was good overall but honestly I don't not understand horimiya being so popular everyone says it's amazing and to watch it but the story is very simple nothing really that stands out except charachter dynamics, miyamura is the sensible in relationship and contrary to whatever says I liked miyamura better than hori , hori is this possessive not possessive gf she is good at study and things but is possessive of her bf asks him to do strange things maybe people like that part like mini spoiler she in an episode sniffs miyamura and she can smell other boys or girls scents tbh that ... seemed very strange even comical idk why people like it . To me horimiya is this mix of strange things + bit realistic , I understand people liking S1 but s2 nahi the teacher is this strange guy who likes girl , highschool girls and to me it was just an unnecessary add on done in anime that an adult has to be creepy adult like can teachers never be good in anime or like teachers it's always something like creepy male adult teacher who likes little girls and makes jokes ha ha ha like it's not even funny just ew .
Kyuosuke (hori's dad) : another strange charachter I don't not like , idk but I'm pretty sure both seasons didn't explain much about him being so weird , hum being called by name or being such a weird charachter , I don't understand why people liked him and hori's dynamic so much like except the last episode giving a little past there's nothing nice about him .

Tbh I personally like the side charachters better than the main charachter in horimiya and they do have enough screentime or importance in the story as much as I like story showing other charachters it's just a lot in horimiya to the point I feel like they might better focus on other charachters as they are far more likable .

Kono - being this smart good girl who has a little hard time depressing her feelings
The red head president - being from a family which has too much expectations of him and him secret dating
His gf - pink girl - being this cutesy ive girl who helps others or wanna be a good friend
Iura - being this talkative funny personality outside and a quiet one at home


I honestly like the side charachters more they're far more realistic and sensible nothing's wrong with it not being realistic but horimiya s2 specially idk why it's soo liked like if someone tells me they only watched S1 or ep 1 and declared it nice it would be understandable but overall horimiya felt so boring at parts and so weird with strange demands from hori of hitting her , sniffing like dog, and the male adults charachter being wierd without any explanation behind hori's dad .

Idk I only watched because even my non interested in romance friends recommended it but to me it's like one of those anime which have some good eps but overall boring episodes with weird mc who somehow is desirable by the audience ( guys don't get me wrong but I'm seriously judging you for asking like a gf like hori irl because she's so weird and normal human girls are not like that pls keep it to fictional crushes ) .

I'm gonna say S1 was better , horimiya is popular but idk find any reasons behind it being so popular like the story nah the story is definitely not the reason it being popular there's better romance animes out there . And side charachters are far better than main Hori especially feels like a good charachter written weird to feel out of ordinary but it only makes her worse .

Uninteresting girls doing uninteresting things. I had higher hopes for an ecchi that was poised, with it's unique and exciting premise, to stand out and be a representative of the last decade of the genre. The art style and character design are superb but the specific things these licentious teenagers get down to are highly limited to the animation budget and I'm assuming the source manga. Putting a hand under clothes? Nope. Licking drool up to the mouth of an entranced Tres Magia member like licking blood off a knife? Nope. Put your dreams away. You'll get the basics as if one just wrote down ... the first things that came to mind after thinking "BDSM." bondage, impact play, tickling, playing doctor, electrocution, but they are only interested in concept, not in execution, which is a strong theme of this show. It draws you in only to leave you emotional disengaged as your disbelief is swiftly reinvoked by what seems to be the work of a mangaka with the sexuality of a robot and no interest in creative writing, only money.

There is a moderate amount of creativity in the powers of these magical girls and their preliminary personalities... for a chuunibyou. The Tres Magia present themselves as well-balanced trio of personality archetypes, but in reality, it doesn't extend farther than their costume design. Sulfur is the only one is at all interesting on her own. Azul reminds of something in between Mio Akiyama and Ais Wallenstein. Tall, academic, stoic, duty-bound, the one who's "good" at things; at least compared to Magenta. It's interesting at first to see her quickly become submissive but she's honestly pathetic and doesn't live up to her image in skill or force of will, she clearly just wants to give up on life and be a doll for Utena, tee-hee. Sulphur and Azul overlap in the proper girl type except that Sulfur's is more agentic and the only one with any kind of sensibilities or reaction to being molested daily. Always focused on only what's important, with a no-bullshit personality, she can be mean at times, with foul language and a superiority complex, making it all the more satisfying to see her in a losing position, which doesn't happen as often as with the other two girls. The redeeming aspect of all this is that it lets you side with the villains more easily, as the Tres Magia might appear to be corrupt idol PR puppets who can't drop the facade of being perfect. As high school girls they really don't seem to be traumatized by the repeated assaults and losses they endure, as if they're 28 years old and have already worn out their sexual sensitivity and modesty, kind of like psychopaths.

Don't expect anything to have real consequences. You'd expect a girl to have sore muscles and be weak and tired after being electrocuted, a perfect way to weaken your opponent to limit the chances of your fun being ruined, or to push them really far, true sadism, but that doesn't happen. You'd also expect the characters to have human emotions in response to the trauma they go through, but not a single line of interesting dialogue comes out of their mouths in response to the events of the show. As well, there's really no rules for the powers of these girls, at times they are insanely overpowered, yet the tides of battle turn only when you're getting to a specific timestamp in the episode, not any good reason. It's also very disappointing that none of the girls are interesting enough to attempt to use their powers in their everyday lives except for when it's almost made of them to do it. We didn't even get 5 minutes of Utena experimenting with her powers, an unabashed shame for how flexible their powers tend to be. What happens if Utena turns a drop of water into a monster, or perhaps a pile of sand? We will never know. They used a flower three times though, at least we know flowers get tentacles! The studio really blew their chance at turning Akihiro Ononaka's unique style into a super popular anime that stands the test of time. I can't recommend this anime if you're looking for anything more than watered down hentai with a slightly interesting premise. It went from "Fuck, it's genius, why didn't I think of that?" to "My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined." It looks like this gem of an idea is going to stay in the rough.

Wasn't a fan, like all anime of it's genre, it has an interesting premise. However, it's just so over the top in it's approach that it just feels like it's trying to be too edgy to differentiate itself from similar overpowered fantasy anime.

I believe the morality of this anime is just bad, I like a little moral complexity in my anime, it felt like I was watching a Dhar Mann video. The villains are to over the top evil that I just found them boring because I knew they were going to suffer in the worst way possible, and I think the worst part ... about it is that they attempt to frame it as the MC being noble because they did a poor job at writing the relationships of some of these characters

Look, if you want a power fantasy and get off on watching evil people suffer, this is for you, but if you want something good, I wouldn't recommend this

The anime is/was a good watch overall. Just like how water is good for you.
If you want more out of the Doctor Elise, aka going out of your way for sparkling water, I recommend you begin reading. It will not disappoint :)

In the world of Isekai which is I am a high consumer of, this one stands out like a lot :). It's unique and original, its fun without being "too in your face".

The art style was beautiful as well, some scenes are generic animations but they went over the top on some scenes; and ... the voice acting is chef's kiss.

As for the characters, I think if this had more episodes we could see how much more vibrant they are. But, overall, they're pretty good.

Overall, I would highly recommend this series to diverse "consumers of media". It is a well rounded story, it had great moments and enjoyable story line. If you want more out of it, if you want to eat the "fruit", more than simply drinking 'good' diluted juice, READ THE MANHWA.

One of my favorite new gen anime when it comes to romance and mystery. Maomao and Jinshi are so much fun to watch ha! Absolutely love the art style, and this season is even better. Loved when Jinshi got upset ahhh adds more to his caring personality. I really connect with the characters a lot especially this season, there is never a moment where I’m bored watching this. Usually, I don’t watch much historical romance or mystery anime’s this specifically piqued my interest and I will not stop recommending it! Such a great watch and I also think it’s great for new anime watchers. I ... also think the art style absolutely goes along with the story, they are honestly so pretty haha Jinshi is absolute perfection as well as maomao!

Well as far as game adaptations this one's easily the best (maybe except some H-game adaptations but those are a story for another time).

The animation is it's best point by far, and that's unusual for adaptations of this kind. If i had one nitpick is that one scene with the knights at the gate... 1 random CGI , they probably ran out of time . The story is not bad..... It's a comedy in the same style like Konosuba,but it has some serious moments,unlike the former. And the plot's decent, as far as what's probably a gacha game that is. Of course when you'd compare ... it to others like FGO who also has adaptations...yeah, that's all imma say.

There's honestly not much to complain about and not much to praise in particular either. It could have been worse it could've been better as well. As far as game adaptations go, it's a good one that in my personal opinion makes me curious about the game. Might try it. AS a watch, i recommend it, it's good enough.

Alright, let’s be honest: this anime has absolutely nothing unique about it. There’s really no reason for anyone to watch it, unless it’s literally your first anime ever—then maybe you’ll enjoy it.

Let’s start with the general idea: the anime is about a protagonist who’s basically the strongest at everything. He never loses, and it all feels extremely forced, like a child writing the plot. It’s basically: “Hmm, let me create an insanely overpowered character who got misjudged during evaluations, haha, I’m a genius.” Even the whole discrimination theme feels incredibly forced and illogical—it makes no sense most of the time.

The only somewhat decent aspect is ... the futuristic setting, with things like a third world war having happened. But even that is nothing that any person couldn’t come up with.

Now, about the characters: they are painfully cliché. You don’t really feel any unique or memorable personality from any of them. It’s either extremely predictable and shallow or just a generic copy of characters you’ve already seen a hundred times before.

As for the soundtrack—it didn’t impress me at all. Usually, I don’t even care much about soundtracks; either it’s amazing, or I just ignore it. In this case, I simply ignored it.

The animation? Completely standard. I don’t put much weight into animation quality because I focus more on the story itself. But still, it’s nothing new or impressive—it’s just the usual, generic anime style.

Now, the pacing and progression: this is one of the anime’s biggest issues. NOTHING RELEVANT EVER HAPPENS. It’s so fixated on the “I’m the strongest” thing that there’s no real story. Nothing progresses. It’s honestly bizarre how bad it is. You might expect that because the anime is fairly short, it would dive deeper into the story or character development—but no. I promise you, almost nothing actually happens. Since the protagonist doesn’t evolve at all, every “difference” is just him explaining what he did, showing it again in slow motion, or someone finally noticing. But none of that shows any real progression. You could easily fit the entire anime into one episode.

Also, it’s worth mentioning the uncomfortable "forced romance" between the protagonist and his sister. It gets slightly less creepy later on, but since it’s never properly explained, it’s just disturbing to watch.

In the end: this anime has a plot that’s, let’s say, “decent” at best, but still feels extremely childish—like something a 7-year-old could come up with. The entire show is so silly that a child could explain the full plot in five minutes. I know I might sound a bit harsh, but imagine I told you there’s an anime that fails at absolutely everything it tries to do—where literally ANY OTHER ANIME you pick will have something better. An anime that no one will ever list as their favorite. And yet, you’re still sitting there watching it. There’s simply no reason in the world to waste time on this anime. Honestly, I’d even say that Dragon Ball Evolution offers more fun or relatable moments than this.

I absolutely love Beserk, but the animation (specifically the weird 3D rotoscope-esque stuff) is terrible and distracting. As a fan of the series, I think non-manga readers will enjoy walk away from this piece feeling confused and without answers. Far too much is left out - if you are interested in Beserk, watch the 1997 series and read the manga. The rating I've given here was elevated primarily by my bias as I was already a fan going into watching this. There are a few scenes I liked, and the non-3D animation was fine. If the entire film was in that style I certainly would've ... rated it much higher. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this, especially not to unindoctrinated viewers.

As everyone knows, OVAs are a brief entertainment and a continuation of the story when a second season is not possible.Well, the anime itself is great, but I thought it ended very open-ended and only now that I discovered there was an OVA did I decide to watch it and it became even more confusing and open-ended. Watching the manga you understand but without addiction.Regarding the episode, it was basic, I thought they dragged it out a lot, especially in the study part, and some of the anime's fanservice scenes were better than the ones that were presented, but apart from that, it was as ... a normal episode final grade 8/10.

rarely does anyone get something right the first time and the ep was no exception, some scenes are strange and the characters' expressions lack fluidity, but this would be a beta test, and for a start it's actually interesting, as it evolves it will get better and better, the artists have a reason to fear the AI, about the story it's basically about 2 NPCs that were created and that ended up bugging everything in the end, a breaking of the fourth wall in a way but within the animation itself, I came to see more out of curiosity but it needs to improve

This movie had big shoes to fill. After all,the novel is a really strong work of sci-fi, and it would be worrying if the anime would the ranks of the Edge of Tomorrow live action as a really bad adaptation of that novel.
It succeeded in doing so. The Visuals are gorgeous. The distinction between the alien and the human elements are perfect.
The VA, despite being composed of a lot of newcomers, was really compelling.
The pacing is set correctly, while conveying properly the frustration of the loops
Now, to address the elephant in the room, the story is a retelling of the novel, with ... some massive changes. However every new element fits. The alien design and behaviour, the way the society functions... someone who read the novel will agree that it fits perfectly with the novel's explanation of the alien behaviour.
I know this was the director's first feature length, and i wish him all the best in future endeavours.

I'll start by saying right away, THIS IS NOT A ROMANCE ANIME, if you came for the romance you'll be disappointed and it's better to go see something else, but if your focus is a good story and character development and a suspenseful unfolding you'll definitely find that here, the plots are interesting and make sense in the story, it's not something forced, even though the protagonist doesn't show any kind of feeling as she learns she gains more layers, let's root for her sister after she decides ..... for her sister, the prince who conquers her with his charisma beyond the kingdom, the animation ... is great, I'm still watching and the Asmodeus' motives are kind of ..... boring but I'm still on the penultimate episode, then I'll leave a conclusion but for now it's: if you like fantasy and intrigue you'll like this work but if you came for the romance it's better to go see something else.

What happens when a technical masterpiece is morally bankrupt?

Mushoku Tensei is, and I don't say this lightly, the epitome of isekai storytelling and the antithesis of what ought to be portrayed to an engaged audience-- it is a work so close to greatness that its shortcomings feel like complete betrayal.

This IS NOT a generic truck-kun induced adventure story. Rudeus Greyrat carries genuine trauma, real consequences, and the weight of a lived failure into his second chance. The new world breathes with authentic detail. The characters possess depth and flaws that puts many anime protagonists to shame.

Despite that, the anime harbors something rotten.

Mushoku Tensei understands what ... most isekai refuse to acknowledge: a story about being given a second chance means nothing without a first chance worth redeeming. Rudeus isn't a blank slate for projection-- he's a broken man wearing the mask of a child. The show's early episodes masterfully establish this tension through brilliant visual storytelling and nuanced character work.

Paul's flawed parenting creates genuine family dynamics. Roxy's teaching feels authentic rather than convenient for the viewer. Even minor characters like Lilia operate with clear motivations that serve the larger narrative. The magic system feels lived-in rather than game-like. The world has consequences. People die brutally and suddenly.

This is isekai done right. This is isekai with purpose.

Then comes Eris.

The show's treatment of sexuality-- particularly involving minors-- transforms what could be nuanced character development into something deeply uncomfortable. Rudeus's mental age creates an inherent power imbalance that the narrative not only ignores but actively romanticizes. The story asks viewers to accept a 34-year-old man in a child's body forming sexual relationships with actual children.

This isn't edgy storytelling, and it sure as hell isn't complex moral territory being explored with care and consideration. This comes off as a fundamental failure to grapple with the implications of the isekai's own premise.

The world itself mirrors this moral bankruptcy. Eris's father-- ostensibly a "good" noble-- casually offers his own daughter as a sexual bribe without consequence or condemnation. Paul's infidelity is treated as charming roguishness rather than betrayal. The narrative presents a world where such behavior is normalized, yet fails to use this corruption as a meaningful contrast to highlight what should be condemned. Instead, the morally bankrupt world becomes an excuse for morally bankrupt characters.

Worse still, the narrative consistently excuses rather than challenges Rudeus's most problematic behaviors. Paul's confrontation-- where valid criticism gets dismissed because "Rudeus is just a kid--" exemplifies how the show's refusal to hold its protagonist able by adult standards only serves to enforce a kind of power fantasy that this anime should have avoided.

I must emphasize: Studio Bind's animation deserves nothing but praise. There are multiple gem scenes within this anime whose visual storytelling can rival even Pixar's best work. Character animation feels cinematic. Magic has weight and consequence. The production values suggest a team that genuinely cares about their craft.

The writing unmistakably shows similar care in its world-building and character relationships. Paul's complicated relationship with his son rings true. Ghislaine's abilities are exquisitely portrayed. The exploration of trauma and social anxiety feels authentic rather than manipulative.

But technical excellence cannot excuse moral cowardice. Beautiful animation and otherwise magnificent writing cannot paper over narrative choices that actively harm the themes the show claims to explore.

Mushoku Tensei effectively had everything it needed to become the definitive isekai. Strong source material, unlimited budget, ionate creators, and a protagonist with genuine depth and realistic, uncomfortable flaws.

Instead, it became a cautionary tale about artistic compromise.

The show works best when focused on genuine character growth and meaningful relationships. It fails catastrophically when sexualizing minors or excusing predatory behavior. These aren't minor stumbles-- they're fundamental contradictions that undermine everything the series does well.

Mushoku Tensei represents both the highest heights and deepest lows of modern anime. Technically superb and narratively ambitious, yet morally bankrupt.

The tragedy isn't that it's terrible-- terrible shows can be dismissed and forgotten. The tragedy is that it almost achieves greatness. Almost delivers meaningful character development. Almost justifies the praise heaped upon it by fans desperate for quality isekai content. And I don't blame them for feeling this way.

The anime almost transcends its genre completely. Save for its issues, Mushoku Tensei almost delivers a strong 9/10 or even a light 10/10. But Studio Bind's execution falls short when being almost perfect isn't enough to overcome fundamental moral failures.

It was only upon closer analysis that I realized how much weight that single word carries-- almost great, almost meaningful, almost worthy of unconditional praise.

Almost isn't enough.

The eps are basically 12 different stories in which the only connection between them is Patty's plot. There are stories that you expect something more intense but that's all she really offers and there are very good stories like 3, 5, 6 for me is the best ep and 4 is a criticism if you pay attention, I would have liked to have seen a little more of the development of Lady and Trish, the animation is satisfactory with a mistake here and there but it doesn't get in the way and in fact they go unnoticed to those who are not used to seeing ... it, recommended for those who enjoy savagery and gore.

There's nothing to say about Code Geass—except that it's a masterpiece. Lelouch is probably the single best-written character in anime, and I've seen a lot of them. His journey is so well done that the closer you get to the end, the sadder you feel—because you know it will soon be over.
The story: it's as good as it gets it's just intriguing to see where it goes it's filled with ambition.
the art: this anime is really old yet it holds up surprisingly well would even go as far to say it beats others from the same era.
if you like death note I would not waste ... my time and instantly jump through it I ended up liking it more by the end of It.
PS:As someone who hates mechas usually the way they are used in this anime are more like tools than anything it doesn't feel forced like other mecha animes that I wasn't able to even look at for more than 5s.

The whole show is just people kissing each other with a really uninteresting story. I assume this is an attempt to just ship people? The characters range from horrendous to tolerable. The female main character is the worst one of them all. Somehow, she has less personality than the shy girl. She doesn't say or do anything interesting she might as well just be a chair with boobs. The main character is also boring he's just the "misunderstood delinquent" archetype that seems to have been popular in the time period that this came out.

Lackluster story. Boring characters. Terrible romance. It's a 2/10 because sadly, watching ... this wasn't enough of an insult to my dignity. But it was just so lacking in everything that I find it hard to get mad over it. Just completely forgettable.

I've never done an anime review before since I prefer my small community of manga readers, but I can't help but review this after how speechless and giddy this left me. I've previously encountered the Demon Lord 2099 through its first manga, but despite how promising it seemed, it got discontinued. Of course, I was immensely disappointed, but then there was a remake! Aaand.... the remake never got translations.

However, after darkness there is light because somehow, and some God spoken way, there is this. An anime. Honestly, it was my first "new" anime in 3 years. Yup, I've officially retired from watching anime and only ... occasionally keep up with my favorites, watching their sequels (Hi, One Punch Man and Overlord). And Oh Boy, the potential I saw in the first manga did not disappoint.

Of course, there are tons of parallels that can be drawn between this and "The devil is a part-timer," and I won't deny that. Heck, even the final boss fight was on a skyscraper. But, I must say that this is just... better? Perhaps it's the cyber-punk setting or the Gen-Z humor, but the comedy and action were simply amazing.

Putting aside the comedy aspects, the writing was well thought out, and the direction of the story through animations was breathtaking. I mean this with my whole heart that episode 11 was one of the best anime episodes, direction, and story-wise that I can recall within the past decade. The entire episode felt like a suspenseful short film, and I'm left flabbergasted at how this episode is in my supposed edgy and funny demon lord anime.

With that, all the characters are lovable and get progressed/explored well, especially the heroines. There are also tons of villains or side characters that make an actual impact on the story besides getting shoved in there for plot reasons.

If you can handle and enjoy some cringe, this may as well be the peak you have been searching for.

I’d rate this season as just okay. The story felt fairly predictable and didn’t do much to keep me fully engaged. While that might work for fans of the genre, I personally found it lacking in originality. It follows the typical action anime formula without adding anything new or memorable to the mix.

Visually, the anime was solid. The graphics were clean and consistent—nothing groundbreaking, but still polished and well-executed for the genre. The action scenes were visually satisfying, though I found myself wishing the emotional moments hit harder.

My main issue lies with the main character. He felt very one-dimensional and emotionally flat. There’s very little ... growth or depth to him, and his nonchalant attitude quickly became stale. The trope of female characters fawning over the stoic male lead is overdone and didn’t feel earned here. In contrast, some of the side characters were more expressive and interesting, which made me wish the spotlight had been shared more evenly.

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this season unless you’re a big fan of standard power-fantasy anime and don’t mind formulaic storytelling. I won’t be continuing with the next season, but I’m glad I gave it a fair shot.

So, I like the relationship between the two main leads. I would totally ship them.
Kobayashi is funny, and interesting for a female lead. She has a lot of stereo typically male characteristics (black out drunk, bad at cleaning, likes a girl in a maid outfit...). Tooru is cute.
The art is nice.
There is not much of a plot, which is ok. Slice of life can be fun, but in this case it does drag a little.
Dragons are great!
However, there is some awkward fan service, particularly with characters who are children. If we took that element out (or even just kept the fan ... service to the adult characters!), my rating would rise by several points for sure.

So far, The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten just feels like generic romance anime #1000. The production is mid, the pacing is slow, and every scene falls into one of the usual patterns: the blush inducing setups, accidental intimacy, or a misunderstanding. There’s some tension when others start noticing their relationship, but it’s the just the same low-stakes drama you’ve seen every season.

The main girl is a textbook Mary Sue. perfect, selfless, and unrealistically nurturing. Hints of trauma don’t add depth, they just check a box. The male lead is just as uninteresting. He's polite, ive, and just present enough to make the fantasy ... work. He doesn't do anything in order for the self insert to work as smoothly as possible. Because of this, their dynamic feels less like a relationship and more like self-insert comfort food.

There are maybe two side characters, and their only job is to contrast the leads by being a PDA-heavy couple. Beyond that, they do nothing of value.

So far, the show feels like it’s written for people who either want their daily dose of diabetes or those who want to be doted on by a perfect partner without needing to do anything in return. It’s not awful; just incredibly safe, trope-filled, and emotionally shallow.

Time Travel, Detective type, Thrillier…3 words that kind of sum up what the series is about.

To give you guys more perspective, think about the game “Zenless Zone Zero” by Hoyoverse. They own a DVD shop that has hidden services. Link Click works the same way except they own a photography business with their own services. Link Click is something considered as “the hidden gem” sort of show. As soon as I read the synopsis, I immediately got interested.

For the rating, one thing that easily raises its standards is its story writing and plot twists. The art is somewhat decent because well its a donghua, ... not an anime. The music IS AMAZING!! the background music fits the narrative, the opening’s catchy, and the ending song used as a transition is so impressive.

Overall, I recommend the anime! If you came from watching BSD, Moriarty the Patriot (for the thrill and detective vibe) or Erased, Tokyo Revengers (for the time travel), I recommend this one!

While overlong, a raw charm helped Psycho Armor Govarian worm It's way into my heart by the half way point. Overambitious yet underinspired (Hope you like Star Wars But Anime) but with oddly memorable characters and a great jank translation (by subbing anti-legend AnimeShinigami) available on the internet, that reads like a machine(?) translation of the Italian sub version.
There may well be more to forgive in this show then there is to condemn.
Some highlights include: Hardly original yet detailed spacecraft designs, decent mech battles in some of the early episodes, a stupid meme score that includes Not Chariots of Fire and Other Wannabe ... Vangelis Hits, plus AT-STs, Flyngers, needless father annihilation by ray beam, needless father dying in a collapsed building, and tropes tropes tropes... oh and a few episodes that have tits for some reason completely front loaded in the first handful of EPs.

Can't see myself ever rewatching but maybe I'd throw on an episode ever again, take a trip down memory lane or something.

Even some of my least favorite X-men comic arcs I've read aren't as bland as this anime. Completely lacking in 'cool factor' with only an artificial lightheartedness that results in zero charm. The cast has an old school X-men level of one dimensionality—every character boiled down to their basest and most cliche form, and Wolverine isn't even a quarter as badass as he should be. Also irritating is the closing credits visualizer being a slow scroll upward of a bunch of cool as hell classic X-men villains, none of which will be making an appearance in this show. Weak animation, generic tier score for the ... intro and outro, and not bad enough to even be funny. X-Men anime sounded sick on paper, so this is an impressive fumble.

This anime's animation and pacing are downright unbearable. It’s honestly painful to sit through. And yet, here I am—still watching—just because I heard the manhwa is good and supposedly better than Solo Leveling. But after 10 episodes? I can confidently say the story is trash. It feels like I’ve seen this exact same plot recycled a hundred times already.

And don’t even get me started on that damn magical beast dragon sound—“kiu kiu”—it’s so irritating I want to mute the screen every time. Watching this mess just reminds me why I sometimes regret watching anime in the first place.

A Cat Studio really had the audacity to ... renew this for a second season after delivering this? It’s like they're forcing another round of torture we never asked for. Please, have some mercy. Just because something was popular as a manhwa doesn’t mean you should butcher it like this.

Overly reviewed!

You know the feeling when you're playing an RPG and you think "oh well this last boss was a bit hard, I'll farm more xp before the next boss battle so I can whoop the next guy's ass" then decide to ONLY do side missions, completely ignoring the main story line, just to get bufs, op equipment and cool abilities to the point you are one tapping everyone in your way? Welp, this anime is just that very thing :D

And well, our MC isn't just cautious, He's OVERLY CAUTIOUS!! Think one set of armour is enough to battle a low level slime? Nah, gotta ... buy a spare for the main armour in case it breaks, but you also gotta buy a spare for the spare armour, cuz who knows if the spare for the main breaks, so you got to buy a spare for the spare. This is the level of absurdity we are working with and its hilarious!.

Far from the typical Isekai of nowadays, this goofy twist makes the comedy in the anime golden. To better describe this anime, it would be like a conbination of "Konosuba" and "Trapped in a dating sim". A useless goddess meets an overly obnoxious MC, at least in other people's view.

The animation... ngl its quite good. Fight scenes are well made, no cgi and best of all good character designs. And talking about characters, the faces "Rista" (The goddess who our mc) makes are absolutely amazing, she gives the word "fluggly" a whole new meaning. If you were to present her to me without saying from which anime she was from, I'd think she's Aqua's long lost sister.

I'm begging to think Myth & Roid only do banger OP's for Isekai's I don't think I've seen any other type of anime to get a OP or ED from them and like always they are all bangers.

In clonclusion, watching this was a blast. I've already started buying the LN's since it's already been 6 years from S1 with little to no hope of S2 anytime soon. And for those who think this is just another goofy type of isekai without any real seriousness to the story, you'll be surprised as the story progresses.

This is an incredible story. The characters are extremely well written and consistent throughout the whole story, something that's difficult for a writer and rare for a viewer. Even though i don't think the characters are realistic enough at all to be actually called "realistic", the emotions they feel are complex and they are real.
Even with all this considered while the characters are some of the best, the plot is just not. The whole plot is unrealistic and over-exagerated, the situationships are childish and extremely unrealistic, so much so that it makes it look like a superficial show, one that doesn't necessarily need to be ... realistic to be good, which, given the characters depth, shouldn't be the case with this show. It's this divergence that for me makes it subpar with other shows. This show is very deep and realistic at times but unrealistic and artificial at others, which confuses the message it's trying to convey and the kind of story it's trying to be, "Should I be taking this seriously or just watching it to kill time?" is the question that never gets answered for me. At times the dialogue gets so boring and superficial that I don't really pay attention to what's being said, and then when one of the characters suddenly drops a bomb of a dialogue i have to go back 5 or 10 minutes and actually pay close attention to understand what caused it. Maybe there's people that like this kind of show and manage to balance out when to take it seriously and when not to, but I like my shows to be clear with their purpose, and I need to know the mindset I should watch them with, so it doesnt work for me.
Though, even after all this, i still think what the author did with the characters is incredible, I'll it, I did not understand it, maybe I will if I rewatch it, or rather I would have if only I knew I was watching something so serious. So with all its cons and inconsistencies but also its good points I think it befits the perfectly mediocre score of 7.
If you intend to watch this, pay attention. This is not your usual filler drama rom-com.

Only Old people loves this. and i AM one of the old people. I think this whole anime is made purely out of nostalgia for the over 30 viewers.

Maybe I am not a kid any more its still fun to watch but I didn't enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the manga.

Kudos for the production to stick to the original story and artstyle so much.

Worth a watch, but NOT the sort that u would wanna re-watch.

After watching the main Attack on Titan, my brain was messed up and my heart felt heavy. I needed something to refresh my mood and Junior High was the perfect medicine.

This anime is absolutely hilarious! Seeing Eren, Mikasa, Levi, and the rest of the cast in a parody version of their intense world was so much fun. It turned all the serious characters into comedy gold without losing their essence.

The art is cute, the humor is constant, and the references to the original series are spot-on. Every episode made me laugh, and it was such a relief after the dark and emotional ride of AOT.

If ... you’re an AOT fan, don’t skip this gem. It’s a light and funny take that hits you with nostalgia and joy at the same time.

10/10 – Perfect comedy spin-off after the storm. I loved every minute of it. ❤️

The one sentence review: DrE, being both good and flawed, is an enjoyable and educational romance that would particularly appeal to a younger crowd.

She was cold. She was rude. She had a short temper. She was imperious and bossy. She was a mean girl. She was a b!+ch.

She married the Crown Prince and became empress, but she was an IDIOT. And she died. She woke up (reincarnated) in Korea as an orphan. She grew up to be a doctor. Recalling her past life fully, and with her situation no longer ... a pampered one, her eyes were opened to human suffering (she's suffering!) and the error of her ways. She wanted to make up for the mistakes she made before, as she caused a lot of misery in her past life. She can see that, now. On her way to to do an operation, the plane went down. She woke back up in her old body, in her previous life, on the eve of her betrothal announcement to the crown prince.

Adapted from the Korean Manhwa, DrE is a 2024 release that is rated 7.25 on MAL. It is 1 season consisting of 12 23-minute English dubbed episodes with CC available. This is on a tween level. It is simple, sweet, and contained.

Elise de Clorance-1.0 was a spoiled ignorant brat. Elise-2.0 is a strong, intelligent, and caring 21st century woman & physician in the body of a teen missy in a time of medical skills that are 80-100 years behind her own.

Elise-1.0 had loved her husband, but she drove him to hate her. The thought of repeating their time together is the worst possible future Elise-2.0 can imagine. ANYTHING but that! She will not marry the this go-round! She won't ruin both their lives!! He was a cold and detached husband. He spurned all of her efforts to love and care for him, emphatically declaring that he only married her to please his father, but he cares nothing for her. Notta thing! Zippo. Goose egg. Total wreckitude.

This is her second spin. She has the benefit of a previous run. She knows what's going to happen. She just needs to tweak the bad stuff. On her first day back she's having lunch with the Royal family. She helps the king avoid a war he would lose. Next, she gave the family enough information so that the royal doctors could stumble onto properly diagnosing the King's diabetes. Finally, she asked the king to break off her engagement to his son. It won't work out. She already knows that. She has a ion for medicine, she explains. She wants to be a doctor, not his family, she tells the king, to his amazement.

By this point in the lunch, The King was looking at her as if she's extraordinary, and he was positively salivating at the thought of her being the next empress. When additional intelligence ops proved her right about their war plans, the King decided that the Royal family simply MUST possess her. Therefore, he wasn't thrilled at the idea of calling off the engagement. He however, looks at the quandary as a chess game. The king doesn't think Elise could possibly make it as a doctor. The thought of Elise-1.0 becoming a medical professional is laughable, truly. Medical training is arduous and grueling; it's gruesome and bloody, too. His majesty agrees to let her try it for a period of months. If she can make it and prove that she's more worth to the kingdom as a docotr than as its Empress, she will be permitted to pursue the profession of doctor. If she can't, she'll put her full attention to being a good empress. It never occurred to the king that he could lose this wager. He doubts she'll last a week.

Linden de Romanoff is our Crown Prince. He's tall, he's dark, and he's brooding. He became very brooding during their marriage and she re it well. Now he seems neutral about everything. What Elise-2.0 fails to notice is that the noticed her during that extraordinary lunch, too. She's on his radar. Big time.

They set her up at a middle tier hospital a town or two over from the capital.

Graham de Fallon is the doctor charged with training her as a “favor” to a noble. They kept the optics simple, so he has no idea the Royals are the ones asking the favor. Graham is a mixture of aggravated, disgusted, and impatient. He sends her to the most horrifying and hopeless ward in an effort to get her to give up. He'd already given up on these guys. Immediately, E-2.0 blows him (and everyone else) away with her knowledge. She has the place spic and span. She's operating on patients, who were considered hopeless, to enormous success. She's sweet and the people love her - patients and nurses. Graham is just stymied by her skills.

On an errand which will take him near the hospital where Elise is working, the decides to check in on her progress. Conveniently, the royal family are Masters of Disguise. Prince Linden disguises himself as a tall blonde man, Lord Ron. His Aid is shot in a robbery attempt and they end up at the hospital before they intended. The head doctor says that they can't stop the bleeding and the situation is hopeless. E-2.0 proceeds to treat them to the nation's first splenectomy. A legend is born.

We'll learn early on that Prince Lindon has an illness that he's trying to keep hidden. Elise eventually turns her attention to Lord Ron who has a persistent cough. She encourages him to come for treatment. He doesn't come right away. One day, she finds him wandering around the hospital property. He claims he was just ing by, but she surmises that he's there for medical evaluation. The scene where she's examining him is adorable. She explains that palpation is the only way to evaluate skin temperature and numerous other factors, as she intermittently holds and strokes his face. All he's thinking is: “Does she touch up all the other patients like this?” He's crestfallen when he hears that he's at the last visit,a few months later. Even worse, they'll be no palpation on this visit! He's healed - see ya later, Lord Ron 😱.

The King's birthday celebration is approaching. The crowd collectively gasps as the walks into the ball EARLY. He hates these things. When other young Lords are attempting to ask E-2.0 to dance, he steps in. At this point we are about midshow. The tension is that the king now /must/ have E-2.0 as the next empress, the Crown Prince is falling for her, and she's determined NOT to marry him again because it hurt too much the first time around. She isn't over him. That much is obvious. She's willfully blind to it, though. She refuses to indulge feelings at all.

Elise looks 12 or 13. She's tiny with pale blonde hair and indigo jellybean eyes. She regrets her past behavior and has discovered the joy of helping others. One of her favorite targets used to be de Childe Julian. Not only is Juian's family a political rival to Elise’s, but Julian is also quite obviously in love with Linden. E-2.0 shocks the girl by apologizing for her prior acts of aggression. Why did they ever have to fight so much? It looks like the two women may be able to be friends now, at least as long as Elise remains unengaged to Linden.

That's the gist of it. Every episode offers a short anatomy lesson. They give the best explanation of a pneumothorax that I've ever seen. The high IQ is one of the things I love about anime. The art is simple and flat. People are drawn for cuteness, not reality. The backgrounds are detailed and lovely. It seems obvious that these old world romance animes are a lot of work because the backgrounds have to be so ornate. There's ornate furniture and bobbles and vases and picture frames and wallpaper and gilded gold on everything. There's beautiful dresses, jewelry and hairdos.

The drawback is that this would be too simple for many. It's actually best suited for tweens. My rating reflects how lightweight the show is, at times. Nevertheless, the good outweighs the bad sufficiently to pull it out of average range. It's good enough to watch. The Romance is shaping up rather nicely; Linden has fallen for E-2.0. She fell for him a lifetime ago. Literally. What will it take to heal this relationship?

This anime was a pretty fun and unexpected ride! The plot itself is a creative twist on the usual isekai formula — a mother and son thrown into a game world together, where the mom turns out to be way more OP than anyone expected.

The comedy and fan service were enjoyable, though I personally could’ve done without some of the fan service moments involving the mom 😅. Still, it didn’t take away too much from the overall experience.

What I loved the most was the MC’s internal monologue — it matched my own reactions so well, it felt like he was reading my mind 😂. His ... constant frustration and disbelief at his situation were hilarious and made the show even more entertaining.

While the series doesn’t go too deep story-wise, it delivers what it promises: lighthearted fun, decent action, and plenty of laughs. It’s not a serious anime, but if you're in the mood for a unique comedy isekai with a twist, this one's worth checking out!

Some humans awakened abilities to combat the threat. They are known as “hunters”. The magic coursing through them determines their rank. There's S, A, B, C, D, leaving E as the lowest. No amount of training will improve their ... power once it awakens; strength & rank are set from day one.” (condensed)

No hunter is weaker than Sung Jin-woo.

Hunters must close the dungeons in under a week or the barriers will drop & allow beasts to escape. The public has no means to defend themselves against magical beasts. People are like ants to them. Only Hunters can fight them off. Healer. Mage. Taunt skill (all the monsters run to that guy). Stealth skill. Murderous intent. Sprint. There's many moves, modes, & skills to learn. Just like a video game, beasts leave behind crystals that have powers & other valuable properties. Almost everything one can pick up & carry out of a dungeon is valuable. The world economy now revolves around the dungeons.

SL is Korean web novel by Chu-Gong. The title could also be translated as “Only I Level Up”. It is a 2024 release that is rated 8.6 on IMDB. It's 2 seasons consisting of 24 23-minute English dubbed episodes w/ CC available. Season 3 has been greenlighted, already. Per goog: The manhwa consists of 200 chapters. The light novel version of "Solo Leveling" has 270 chapters. So far, they've adapted up to roughly chapter 66.

Hunters? Ant invasion? I sense a nod to Hunter × Hunter, which is probably my favorite anime. I appreciate the call-out. The art is wonderful. People are drawn w/ elegance. Backgrounds are minimally stylized realism. When things in the show turn mind-bending, the animation gets mind-bending. It's spectacular. Camera angles, segues, sound, dialogue… it all comes together beautifully. The show is excellently crafted & it's addicting.

We don't meet our protag until around 17 minutes in. At first, our ML doesn't look like much. He arrives on the job site and the gossip takes off: ‘He's the weakest Hunter alive. He's always getting hurt. It's a wonder he's alive.’ He keeps working b/c he's his family's only source of income. Dad is missing. Sis, Sung Jin-ah, is in school. Mom has Sleeping Sickness - that malady arrived w/ the dungeons & beasts. We will learn that muggles… Eh, non-magical folk w/ low resistance to magic will succumb to it.

Sung Jin-woo/ “Jin” is much like a prototype Japanese-anime-pure-hearted-blushing-maiden-male-protagonist. He's bad w/ names, but he's kind, decent, easily embarrassed, & earnest. He's a E-rank - barely. As two feds walk away from evaluating him, one comments that he's “basically a civilian“.

The first raid we see Jin in ends up being dangerous. One of the leaders wants to leave & Jin was the deciding vote to stay - he's gotta make that W💰N. This D-rank raid turned into a DOUBLE DUNGEON. There was a 2nd, much deadlier, dungeon inside the first one. They are trapped. “WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!” Thus closes ep1.

Jin is physically weak but he's mentally sharp. Lives saved in that horrifying dungeon are saved b/c of his deductive reasoning. Jin es out before knowing who made it. He was certain he did not. “I wanted another chance!” Jin screams into the darkness. A screen pops up in the air. He's been awarded The Courage of the Weak. Huh?

Hospital room? Well, the eps1&2 dungeon raid was a debacle; 7 of 13 hunters died. When rescuers arrived the dungeon was gone, the scary statues that had attacked the hunters were gone, in fact, all they found was Jin ed out on the dirt. The feds suspect that Jin survived b/c he underwent a reset of his power; a “ReAwakening”. That's rare - really rare. The few that have reawakened have all powered up to A or S class. ALRIGHT! Jin's excited now - for about 10 seconds, until they test him at level E. Still.

After they leave, a screen pops up in front of Jin. It's obvious that no one else can see it. He soon learns he'd better obey it, too. He ignored the order to do daily strength training. At midnight, he entered the penalty phase & had to run for his life from giant-killer-centipede-looking-things for 4 hours. Things have gotten really, REALLY weird. As Jin completes his daily exercises, he gets stronger & he also gets rewarded. He gets immediate recovery, so no fatigue. He's got skill & inventory screens & his quests continually add to his stash. He gets a daily loot box! He's also getting weird looks b/c people think he's talking to the air. One day the loot box gives him a key. Of course he's gonna use it! It unlocks a secret dungeon. Once in, he must clear it or stay trapped! Panic! Jin's doesn't have any confidence in his abilities. When the monsters start attacking, he's scared. But he fights. He fights, dodges, dips, dives, ducks… & he kills monsters. This is new.

Jin is eventually discharged from the hospital & he needs to make 💰. He may be much more powerful, now, but no one knows that. He's s officially still an E. He can't sell any of the high powered weaponry he's been awarded - no E-rank would have that stuff. He has no authority to enter the good gates, & that's how a Hunter makes money. He ends up answering the classified ad of an established team looking for help. That's how he meets D-rank Yoo Jin-ho/ ”Jho”, who shows up to the raid in brand new armor. Daddy's rich. He's bad at picking up on social cues, but he's very happy & friendly. It's only Jin & Jho who are the non-regulars. Once again, things go horribly wrong. “What happens in a dungeon stays in a dungeon.” A dungeon disappears once it's been cleared. If there's bodies left they disappear w/ the dungeon. There's no forensics, studying the crime scene, nor medical examiner. There's only the word of the survivors. Obviously, a system like this opens up the door for all kinds of nefarious crime. Everything in the dungeon is worth money & some people don't want to share. Jin & Jho have to defend themselves against their team and only they make it out alive. That team underestimated Jin, & he overpowered them. Jin doesn't know it, but he has a very scary enemy just for surviving that gate. The S-ranked brother of the team leader who will never leave that fateful dungeon blames the two survivors. Jin also has a new HUGE fan - Jho calls him “Boss,” now.

Jin came out of that dungeon rankled but much more powerful - every kill makes him stronger. Later that night he learns that the system will negate most toxins in /his/ system. So much for alcohol & he needed to get drunk. The game gives him another key. It's an S-ranked dungeon, this time. He figures he wouldn't have gotten the key if he can't do it, so he takes the plunge - & almost dies. This one takes everything he has. He defeats the monster, but the dungeon isn't clear. There's a castle there w/ a very ominous energy coming from it: The Demon's Castle. The reward is the Elixir of Life. Could it heal his mother? He knows if he goes there he'll die. He must get stronger first. Ep7 closes. What we learn about Jin is that he seems easy going, but he's STUBBORN. Give up? It hardly occurs to him. It's his tenacity that propels him. That is one of the themes: Never give up.

This author knows how to start mid-level-awesome & take the work to mind-blowing heights. Gates open to cave-like dungeons, but as Jin becomes more powerful, the gates become more complex & grand. There's whole cities, forests, castles, & towns. The gates that his loot keys unlock don't disappear; he can leave & come back to work his way through gradually. Some even have sentient habitants whom he can communicate w/. They cannot be swayed away from trying to kill him, however. More than one of them mentions a voice in their heads that commands them to hunt & kill humans.

All the while, in a world where nobody can level up, he's leveling up constantly. The game forces him to work out, so he's getting ripped too. His baby face is gone. He's lean. He's stronger, he's calmer, he's smarter, & he's quicker. He even got taller. He carries himself differently. People are starting to notice. /Women/ are starting to notice. The stronger he gets, however, the more he feels like he's falling apart inside. Lots of changes are going on. It's hard to keep up.

“If you gaze too long into the Abyss, the Abyss gazes back into you.” One villain gets that dig in after verbally reducing hunters to mere killing machines. It's true that violence can be a drug for some. Jin is getting accustomed to violence. “Has leveling up made me braver?” Has it made him more ruthless?

There's a sense of a force that is maneuvering all of them - the wizard behind the curtain - are they in OZ? Jin learns that beasts in the system don't even consider him human. The voice in their head demanding that they kill humans is silent when it comes to him. Another thing he learns is that the beasts speak another language. He's been speaking their language w/o even realizing it. Onlookers had to inform him that they couldn't understand any of his conversation w/ the Elf King, to Jin's shock. “THE SYSTEM WANTS ME TO LIVE. IT WANTS ME STRONG,” Jin realizes.

“The dungeons, the gates, the beasts, that's just the tip of the iceberg. They have the power to commit wholesale destruction.” So says a Hunter who was trapped in a gate for 10 yrs. Everyone is going about business as usual, while world-ending peril is fast approaching. S2 ends in a world-peril level cliffhanger. S3 can't come soon enough!

The Beginning After The End, or TBATE, sounds like a heavy title. Usually, when an anime has a short and simple title (not long ass title that feels like the entire synopsis), you know that this would be good but is that really is? It turns out, there is always a piece of crap that is so bad that i even question myself whether this is a professionally made series or a fan made animation. Let's break it down:

First off, the animation? Or is it? Let's be realistic, who would even call it an 'animation' when seeing something like that? The character is barely moving, ... be it when they talk, walk, or even fight. The entire show feels like it's a freaking PowerPoint presentation. Hell, it was so bad that calling the character 'walking' is too generous. They seem to glide through the screen lifelessly. Fight scene? The scene that was supposed to be a highlight of almost every fantasy anime, is like they just copying a JPG file, drag it around the screen, and adding some generic effect that you can even found and their green screen version in YouTube. Okay, lets talk about the magic system, people said that in this series, it was supposed to be complex. But, who cares anymore about that if their execution is as bad as that? They just made the magic effect with generic glowing effects that is just zooming in and out when the fight scene begun. They really doesn't give a f*ck about the magic animation. Honestly, i don't know how things can get this bad. Did they wrapped the whole series a day before its airing period were started? Or did their budget for this show is even lower than the price of a Big Mac? I'm really at loss to describe how horrible the entire animation really is. Save your eyes from watching this trash, i mean it.

Story? Come on, who didn't notice that first episode is straightforward copying mushoku tensei, except the one that died in this series is not an ugly fat perverted uncle. But, since everyone said it will get better the more you watch it, i decided to just goes anyway. Long story short, after five episodes, i regret that decision. Maybe the manga or other manhwa is good, but this anime? Nah, calling it horrible is still generous. It lacks emotion, fails to hit the hearts of the audience in what supposedly a heartwarming scene, its just straight up lifeless and flat.

Final thought : do NOT watch this awful adaptation. If you curious about the story, read the manga or manhwa, pretend this sh*t never existed. Studio A-Cat should NOT used the title 'The Beginning After The End', this abomination is more suited to be "The End After The Slideshow"

"Naruto: Shippuden" is one of the greatest anime series ever made. It’s iconic, legendary, and an essential part of anime history.

The show consists of 500 episodes, with around 200 filler episodes—most of which are skippable if you're focused on the main story.

Before watching Shippuden, it’s highly recommended to watch the original Naruto (220 episodes) to understand the characters and plot properly. Yes, it’s long and may feel overwhelming at first—but trust me, it’s absolutely worth it.

Animation: Solid and improves as the show progresses.

Storyline: A true masterpiece with deep emotional arcs and powerful themes.

... Music & Soundtracks: Heartwarming and memorable.

Fight Scenes: Intense, beautifully choreographed, and emotionally driven.


I skipped the filler episodes and finished the entire series in just 22 days. This anime will make you laugh, cry, gasp in shock, and leave you genuinely excited after every arc.

For me, the real story kicks off from Episode 119. Some of my personal favorite episodes include:

Madara Uchiha - Proper defination of The Final Main Villain, One of the greatest character introduction in anime history.

And my absolute favorite: Itachi Uchiha – a brilliantly and one of the best written character in anime history, unforgettable and complex character.

Overall, Naruto: Shippuden is one of the best anime of all time. You should definitely try this.

* **Umemiya**: Easily one of my favorite characters. He’s funny, dependable, and brings real heart to the series.
* **Togame & Choji**: Their friendship is deep and well-explained, and Choji’s rise as leader of Lion’s Head adds layers to the story. The flashbacks about Lion’s Head and how they changed were done very nicely.

The Prince Who Runs Like A Rabbit

the elusive samurai Is one of the most colorfuls war anime I have seen. is so fun and bloody.

anime shows the real events that happened in Japanese history, but it does it in such a colourful interesting way. like how the main character is a kid who best quality is to flee, And has to assemble a team to take back his birthright.
And how it tackles that it's better to run and live another day, than to die a pointless death.

I could not stop watching it because the characters are just so fun to watch, and animation is ... smooth as butter, full of eccentric characters that are fun to watch.

The anime is so disarming, It's so colorful and full of youthful energy, and then the most horrible bloody scene can happen and so adult characters shows true Darkness and horrible intent. It's a balance that should not work, but it works completely in the elusive samurai.

It cannot be understated, How good the animal looks, It is full of life and colors. And the ending song is just marvelous.

I really want to give it a higher score, but it has the same problem, as a lot anime has, where it's just the beginning of the story and I want more.

If we actually got a full story, it will could be one of the all-time greats. but right now, It's just a sweet beginning. would recommend.

Is This a Zombie?" — More Like, Is This a Joke?

This anime is a walking dumpster fire of cringe, mixing random genres like it’s trying to win a bet. A zombie magical girl crossdressing high school comedy with fanservice? What were they smoking?

The main guy is a dead idiot who turns into a magical girl (yes, magical girl) and fights with a chainsaw in a frilly dress. The humor is forced, the jokes are like leftover memes from 2009, and the characters? Just empty tropes with boobs. The show throws in tsunderes, necromancers, vampire ninjas — it’s like an anime vomit buffet, and none of ... it sticks.

The plot? Doesn’t exist. Just random crap stitched together with zero coherence. And don’t even get me started on the fanservice — it’s like the creators were aiming for horny middle-schoolers with brain damage.

In short, it's not funny, not clever, and painfully embarrassing to watch. If secondhand embarrassment was a genre, this anime would be the king.

Attack on Titan – Brutal, Mysterious, and Off to a Strong Start

I went into *Attack on Titan* with a lot of criticism and high expectations—and honestly, it managed to meet both. It’s gruesome, to say the least. The violence and intensity are unrelenting, but it fits the tone of the story well.

The whole “humans turning into Titans” concept is genuinely interesting. I liked how Season 1 gave answers to some of the mysteries while still leaving a lot unresolved for the next season. It keeps you hooked, wanting more.

Eren as a character is... okay. I’ve heard he gets much better later on, so I’m curious ... to see where he goes. Mikasa, though, is really cool—calm, powerful, and loyal. Armin cries too much in this season, but you can tell he’s got something deeper going on, and I ended up liking him more than I expected.

Levi hasn’t had much screen time yet, but he already gives off serious "cool and dangerous" energy. Looking forward to seeing more of him.

The human vs. Titan dynamic is tense and works well, especially when they’re using the ODM gear to zip around. That said, the actual Titan fight choreography didn’t impress me too much—those battles could’ve been more polished.

Overall, Attack on Titan Season 1 is a strong and gritty start to a dark story full of mystery, fear, and survival. I’m definitely interested to keep going.

Going into this anime with absolutely no idea what it was about was truly an experience. I didn’t know it’s an adaptation of The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas until I finished it and searched reviews/analysis online. I’ll definitely be reading it as soon as I can.

About the anime, I’ll be looking at it as something that stands on its own, also because from what I read, it differs from the book in ending and setting.

Firstly, I loved the art. If you, like me, enjoy anything visually interesting, this is definitely for you. I think it does a great job at immersing ... the viewer. The extravagance of it all for me was the cherry on top to this french aristocrat world. Also, the recaps in french at the start were just so good.

The story is absolutely captivating, and I was intrigued from the very start. I watched the whole show in 3 days, the first 12 episodes in 2 days and the last 12 episodes all at once. I can’t recall a moment where I was bored.

Albert, Franz, the Count… these are some good, well developed characters. Even the side cast is interesting, with each their own conflicts. The voice acting cast does an amazing job for each character.

One of my favourite things about Gankutsuou is for sure the music. During the anime, so many moments are accompanied by such amazing soundtracks that it deserves special praise. I absolutely loved the op, I didn’t skip it even once, even when I was dying to see what happened next.

This anime is one of those hidden gems you find once in a blue moon.

"LOOK BACK" is a beautiful short film that definitely deserves a one-time watch.

Tatsuki Fujimoto, the creator of the original manga, did a wonderful job. His art style is unique and captivating, and the animation in this film brings it to life in a very impressive way. I especially loved the visuals of landscapes and nature—they’re simple, yet stunning.

The music is calm, relaxing, and truly memorable. It perfectly matches the tone of the film, and I honestly fell in love with the soundtrack.

The storyline is good and emotional. It reminded me a little of "I Want to Eat Your Pancreas", especially in the way it explores ... relationships and life from a quiet, reflective perspective.

The characters are well-crafted despite the short runtime, and the pacing feels just right. The dialogues are minimal, but they hit hard—they're meaningful and impactful.

If there’s one issue I had, it's that the film feels too short. With more runtime, it could’ve developed even deeper emotional layers. Also, in the last 20 minutes, there's a sequence involving alternate reality, which might be slightly confusing at first, but it’s not too complex to follow.



Overall, "Look Back" is a touching, well-animated film with a peaceful vibe. You can comfortably enjoy this with your whole family. A short, emotional experience worth your time.

This anime was presented as an enemies-to-lovers story, but from episode one, the two leads were already on good , just stuck on opposite sides of their jobs. The romantic tension was strong, and the way the lieutenant struggled to keep his cool around her was genuinely funny. Their chemistry? Easily an 8/10.

Unfortunately, the story doesn’t progress much. Each episode feels the same, and the side content without the main duo just didn’t hit. I found myself wishing for more growth, both in the characters and the plot.

After learning the author ed away and this adaptation was made in their honor, I understand why the ... story feels incomplete. It’s not perfect, but it’s a heartfelt tribute with moments that shine.
The art style is beautiful, and everything was a bit dreamy.

This shit is the most mediocre slop I've watched in a minute. It's the definition of a show that is carried by nostalgia. While it has some redeeming moments in the pre-timeskip era of the show, it fails to capitalize on the gems that it does have, instead repeating the numerous unfunny gags and jokes that Oda insists on shoehorning into the anime. Several characters not only fail to develop meaningfully, but rather regress as characters, namely Usopp, who goes from a solid nigga who stands on business and will always clutch up to save his friends, to a coward who runs from the tontattas ... after promising to help them, selling Robin and showing his shameful nature in the process. There are many characters throughout the series who have been reduced to their most basic and least interesting aspects, leaving a hollow and uninteresting show in their wake. One piece is an anime with potential, marred by bad writing, constant asspulls, a refusal to add stakes, even to the extent of constant death fake-outs, and poor character development. Maybe in the future it could hold a candle to actual shows, but I won't hold my breath. Ace dies btw.

Haibane Renmei is an example of amazing worldbuilding taking place in a setting that looks similar to what we're familiar with, but still unique in mysterious in so many cool ways. the pacing was so perfect, revealing little hints about what is going on in the first episodes, and then more comes flooding at you in the second half. i think it left the perfect amount of stuff left unknown.

the characters are all believable and behave in realistic ways for the most part. you become so attached to them so fast. i cried so much!!!

the opening/ending songs and the ost are all so beautiful ... and powerful. and the art is so charming, and the designs are cool and unique. and the story is satisfying til the end, and sums up nice and good.

Normally, I’d start by saying “let’s begin with the bad parts,” but honestly, there weren’t any for me. The anime is consistently solid from beginning to end—I actually binged it all in one day because I enjoyed it that much.

It follows the same formula we see in a lot of isekai, action, or superpower anime: an insanely overpowered, untouchable protagonist. But unlike most of those shows, Sakamoto Days really nails this concept. It doesn’t treat the superpowers as something overly serious or constantly badass, but instead turns them into a steady source of comedy and fun. ... That keeps Sakamoto from becoming just another bland, personality-less OP protagonist like so many others.

The comedy really worked for me—I found myself laughing out loud several times. But, as the saying goes, comedy is subjective. It hit the mark for me, but it might not work the same for you.

The characters and their growing relationships are also really enjoyable. There’s no dead weight here—no annoying characters you just want to skip past. They all fit together nicely. I also like how even during the more dramatic moments, the show doesn’t lose its comedic tone—it sticks to its identity the whole way through.

Anyway, to keep it short: Sakamoto Days is a good anime. It has fun characters, genuinely funny humor, solid animation, and it handles the OP protagonist trope really well.

It’s definitely a strong 8.5

Normalmente começaria dizendo, vamos começar pela parte ruim, mas sinceramente ela não existiu para mim. O anime é todo muito consistente do começo ao fim, maratonei ele em um único dia, por ter gostado e me divertido muito.
Temos aqui a mesma formula de diversos isekais, animes de ação ou de super poderes. Um protagonista extremamente overpower, invencível e intocável. Mas diferentes de todos os outros, Sakamoto Days acerta muito nisso, não tratando esse super poder, como algo serio e badass o tempo todo, mas uma fonte consistente de comedia e diversão para quem assiste, não tornando assim Sakamoto só mais uma massa amorfa e sem personalidade como todo protagonista isekai ou overpower.

A comedia do anime me agradou muito, me peguei gargalhando diversas vezes, mas como ja disse o poeta, comedia é relativa, ela funcionou comigo, mas talvez não funcione com você.

Os personagens e o relacionamento que vai se desenvolvendo entre eles é muito agradável, não temos sobras aqui, ou personagens chatos dos quais não queremos ver. Todos eles ficam muito bem junto. Gosto de como mesmo nas partes mais dramáticas, eles não perderam o tom de comedia que escolheram para a obra.

Enfim sem me prolongar muito, Sakamoto Days é um bom anime, tem personagens divertidos, uma comedia realmente engraçada, uma animação satisfatória e soube trabalhar bem o conceito de um protagonista overpower.

Frieren feels caught between two aspirations: to be an episodic journey reflecting on the age of time, and to deliver flashy battles pitting aura against aura. Unfortunately, the result is a story that does neither with a particularly graceful hand. If you look for shows that take a strong narrative, emotional, or thematic throughline to a satisfying resolution; if you prize focused storytelling that doesn't hinge on the use of ad hoc flashbacks or monologues to deliver information just in time; if you prefer not to sit through long fights where characters wax unlyrical about the assurance of their inevitable victory, then Frieren might not ... be for you.

Aesthetically, Frieren is well-equipped: dynamic animation, painterly backdrops, and a gorgeous soundtrack by Evan Call, the presence of which was what first drew me to the show. That said, other aspects of the story tend to make these hard to appreciate. The often-listless pace of the narrative can leave Call's score feeling like background noise, even during action, rather than the storytelling powerhouse you might find in works like Violet Evergarden. For similar reasons, perhaps, the cinematography often feels utilitarian (lifeless, even), despite being fundamentally solid, and it certainly isn't helped by the show's flatly-styled lighting.

The structural issues with this show seem as though they stem from a lack of confidence in the ability of the intended demographic to make inferences and recall details; watching characters and flashbacks spelling everything out in the moment can become an increasingly frustrating experience as the story goes on. Combined with the presence of a main and side cast of largely unemotive and one-note characters, as well as an exploration of its world and themes that often feels shallow, Frieren offers little to latch on to as a viewer. If you're looking for a breath of fresh air, you might have better luck opening a window. But if you're simply after something to fill the time with a roll of the dice between peaceful slice-of-life, ostentatious action, white noise, and the occasional life lesson, Frieren might just be what you're looking for.

Depois de toda a estilização dos dois primeiros filmes — do surrealismo exagerado ao espetáculo visual — este terceiro capítulo arranca-te a alma com uma honestidade desconcertante. É um encerramento que não grita, mas sussurra algo muito mais íntimo: somos frágeis. Somos egoístas. E mesmo assim, somos humanos.

A narrativa aqui não fecha com respostas fáceis. Fecha com dor, amor mal resolvido, decisões que pesam mais que espadas. E isso é precisamente o que o torna tão especial. Tudo o que parecia exagerado ou esteticamente "demasiado" nos filmes anteriores é agora reinterpretado como uma expressão crua do ... conflito interno das personagens. Há beleza na violência. Há ternura no silêncio. Há verdade no absurdo.

A direção é simplesmente sublime — cada plano, cada pausa, cada gesto está carregado de simbolismo e sentimento. SHAFT atinge aqui um nível quase operático de expressão visual. Mas o mais chocante é que, no meio de tanto sangue e grandiosidade, o filme se reduz ao que é mais puro: uma história de ligação humana, de perda, de escolha.

Sinto que não vi apenas um final — vi uma confissão.

Kizumonogatari não é apenas uma trilogia. É uma experiência. Uma espiral estética e emocional que começa com estranheza, mergulha na intensidade e termina numa honestidade brutal — crua, humana e inesquecível.

O primeiro filme, Tekketsu-hen, é uma introdução desafiante. Lento, surreal, quase grotesco. Mas é precisamente aí que reside a sua força: recusa ser ível, optando por estabelecer atmosfera e estranheza em vez de conforto narrativo. Cada escolha visual é arriscada, cada diálogo desconcertante. É o tipo de obra que sabe que pode afastar o espectador — e ainda assim, permanece fiel a si própria. E por isso, merece respeito.

Nekketsu-hen, o segundo filme, explode com uma intensidade avassaladora. A evolução é notável: a animação atinge novos patamares, a narrativa torna-se mais física, mais emocional, mais violenta. Mas o que realmente brilha é a profundidade simbólica — os diferentes estilos de animação, a construção dos diálogos, e até as cenas sensuais são usados como ferramentas narrativas, e não como distrações. É onde percebemos que esta trilogia não quer só contar uma história — quer explorar o humano no inumano.

E então chega Reiketsu-hen. O fim. E o que parecia ser uma saga estilizada revela-se, no fundo, uma história de dor, egoísmo, sacrifício e humanidade. Nunca esperei uma conclusão tão emocionalmente sincera. A violência estética dá lugar ao silêncio dos gestos. O espetáculo dá lugar à escolha íntima. O fim não é épico — é trágico, pessoal, real. Como deve ser.

Kizumonogatari não é fácil. Não é para todos. Mas para quem está disposto a mergulhar, é uma das mais corajosas e belas trilogias da animação moderna. Uma obra-prima que sangra, ama, e permanece.

Um começo confuso? Sim. Mas também desafiador, corajoso e visualmente deslumbrante. Este primeiro filme arrisca — e muito. O estilo de produção é altamente autoral, com uma direção que não se preocupa em agradar logo de início, mas sim em criar atmosfera, provocar estranheza e preparar terreno emocional.

É uma obra que sabe que pode afastar parte do público, mas não abdica da sua identidade. E isso, para mim, é motivo de respeito absoluto. Gosto particularmente da forma como os personagens são introduzidos — tudo é meio absurdo, quase grotesco, mas ao mesmo tempo esteticamente fascinante. Há um equilíbrio entre o bizarro e o belo que ... só mesmo SHAFT conseguiria sustentar.

Apesar de ser o mais lento mas, é essencial para estabelecer a densidade emocional e visual que viria a seguir. É como mergulhar num pesadelo elegante: desconfortável, mas hipnotizante.

Não é para todos — e é precisamente isso que o torna tão especial.

The work feels like a love-letter towards humanity's curiosity, celebrating human intelligence and legacy. It's a salute to the curious that question and explore the world, the bold who challenge the status quo, the ing of the torch between generations and groups. It's a good theme with some decent story to back it up, but the work has some issues.

1 - Chi does an interesting thing of changing main protagonists in arcs. Most arcs involve something from the new protagonist inheriting something from the previous one. Many characters recur more than you'd expect, but a decent amount are forgettable. The wide cast also means you ... have to get a LOT of backstories; this might be tiresome since it feels like a infodump but feels necessary to see how someone gets to their current philosophy.
2 - Some characters feel organic in which they live life and through the story or character interaction, come to a specific philosophic question or intellectual progression. Some feel like they are there just to be a mouthpiece for those ideas.
3 - The philosophical questions and arrived answers aren't particularly unique or interesting. You will not find a sudden revelation or a unique view on them; it's a relatively common/low-level exploration to them. You'll find a lot of time also spent towards just talking about these, but I figure that comes with the subject matter.
4 - Personally the 2nd to last arc felt weak aside from the reoccurring characters in them.
5 - The "twist" at the end is kinda wild; it's hard to feel like it matches the whole "ing of the torch" theme appropriately and really undermines the whole plot before it.
