The concept seemed fairly interesting, at first.
I like isekai stories, especially where the characters are adults. Cross dressing is a fun element as well! Realistically, I feel like more women isekai protagonists should cross dress while traveling across unknown lands.
I like the idea of Chie's power (who wouldn't want to be able to read all languages!). She is a tough cookie who wants to help others, which I appreciate. However, I felt as the story went on, she ended up being rescued more, and not standing up for herself as much. I didn't read too the end, so maybe this ends up becoming more ... balancing, but this is why I stopped reading.
The art is ok, but not particularly interesting.
The love interest was also okay, but also not particularly interesting. I feel like they had a decent amount of chemistry as friends, but I didn't quite see a romantic spark between them. However, romance isn't my favorite genre, so maybe other people will like him more.

So far I would say this is a pretty good manga!
It is still very much ongoing, so I don't know if it will get better or worse over time, but so far it's not bad. If you prefer to read works where the story is more settled, maybe wait until more chapters are released before checking it out.
The art is nice. It's not super special, but it's pretty to look at. I always like when there is a food element in the story. The interesting thing is the depiction of the beast kin characters... they are very furry. Which is just how MC likes ... them! It's nice that she doesn't fetishize them, but respects them as actual people, unlike a lot of other of their community.
I like the little fairy creatures as well, they are cute and helpful.
MC is hardworking, but I haven't seen her personality develop too much yet.

So, I like the relationship between the two main leads. I would totally ship them.
Kobayashi is funny, and interesting for a female lead. She has a lot of stereo typically male characteristics (black out drunk, bad at cleaning, likes a girl in a maid outfit...). Tooru is cute.
The art is nice.
There is not much of a plot, which is ok. Slice of life can be fun, but in this case it does drag a little.
Dragons are great!
However, there is some awkward fan service, particularly with characters who are children. If we took that element out (or even just kept the fan ... service to the adult characters!), my rating would rise by several points for sure.

It's been a long time since I tried to read/watch this, so I wanted to make a short review mostly for myself, to try and my feelings about it.
I like the art style and the concept. Isekai is a favorite genre of mine. Reverse Harems can be fun as well. The magic system seems interesting.
I can see why it's considered a classic. If you like the art style, and longer (completed!) isekai stories, you might like this one.
However, the characters didn't draw me in. I didn't find them sympathetic enough to want to know what happens to them.
That said, I would probably ... give this another chance at some point.

It's good so far! Unfortunately only half the chapters are scanlated, so I don't know enough to make a judgement on the story as a whole. However, so far, the art is pretty good (the food looks yummy), and the plot and the characters are interesting.
The premise isn't that unique, but there are some interesting details, such as the main character's parents revealing something about their family history, and (most recently) the love interest's backstory with his grandmother.
If you like isekai stories, or cooking/food stories, you might like this one!

I really enjoyed the start! I liked that the main character is older (not a teenager), and her introduction to the other world was a little more unique as well.
I liked her powers as well, with the video game like system. This has been done before, but I feel like I've seen it more from male main characters than female, so that was a little refreshing.
The lead herself is fairly likable, but frankly doesn't have that much of a personality or development over time. There are some likable side characters, but they (mostly) don't have development either. (I think one of the side characters ... grows a bit).
The plot was alright, but I didn't love the direction the final arc took.
The art was nice, nothing special, but definitely nice to look at.
I think I would do a reread at some point so I can make a more thorough review.

This manga focuses on the protagonist Lily a Japanese girl who is reincarnated in a fantasy kingdom, where she becomes the royal maid, adept at information gathering, problem solving, and caring for others. The story starts when she is recruited to be the mother of the royal magician's new powerful ward.
This is an ongoing manga, so my opinion might change. Also, I am a big fan of isekai, so that definitely skews my point of view. That said, I am finding this very enjoyable to read so far. The art is average, and maybe a little old fashioned even, but nothing horrible. The story ... isn't airtight, there are some plot holes and a lot of suspension of disbelief, but considering the genre and the fact that it is incomplete, I think that's fine. I do enjoy the world building, the system of magic, and the characters. The magic system is an elemental system, with spirits possessing elemental powers and sharing them with magicians in the form of magical contracts. The character aren't super complex, but they are likeable and fun to root for. The little girl, Jill, is very cute. Lily could use a little more depth, being the almost too perfect type of protagonist, but that is fun to indulge in sometimes, and could improve in the future.
Personally, I like the kind of 'love will save the day' plot, especially when other kinds of love besides romantic are acknowledged, in this case, there is a big focus on familial love, even if the characters aren't blood related. One thing I don't love is the protagonist's relationship with her past love interest, although that might be a translation issue, I can't tell.

I do like bread, and each episode is only five minutes, so I thought, what the heck.
Based off of a 4-koma manga, the five minute episode template actually works pretty well for this. That said, one of the enjoyable things about slice-of-life is watching things unfold in a slow lazy pace.
The 'plot' of this anime is a bunch of high school girls meeting up together to share their mutual love of bread. Yep. Bread.
The images of bread at the end of the episode are probably the best part. The art isn't spectacular, but it does make you hungry.
The character design is... okay. ... The cast reminds me a bit of the K-ON! girls, but nowhere near endearing. The Yui-lite main character is air-headed and kind. She rides a fine line between annoying and 'eh.' There is also some Yuri fantasizing. The lolita character is probably my favorite, mainly because she carries a baguette around in her backpack at all times.
At the end of the day, I think I smiled after I watched it.

I like it.
Sometimes I just need something light-hearted and this fit the bill.
That said, if you are looking for something with a meaty storyline, realistic characters, astounding art and music... then this is not your show.
One thing to take into , is that each episode is around five minutes long. That doesn't leave much time for plot or character development.
That said, the general storyline is: the main character has just gotten accepted to a sweet making academy. At this prestigious school, there are several handsome young men teachers. The strict principal does her best to make sure none of the students and teachers get ... into an inappropriate relationship...
The characters are mainly flat archetypes--the helpful best friend, the quiet elegant traditional Japanese sweet maker. There were some hints of further development, mentions of the characters families, or what they wanted to do in the future, but again, this was stifled by the time restraint. The main character is the typical 'I will try hard to reach my dream' sort of girl. Nothing about her stood out in particular, but nothing about her annoyed me in particular either.
I did find the character designs cute. Again, the art is not realistic or blow-me-away amazing. However it is sparkly and appealing to look at.
Overall, if you like dessert and (depending on your taste) pretty boys, then give this show a watch.

This is a great manga, because of it's balance between typical shoujo elements (romance, chibi moments...) and mystery.

The manga has a episodic format, so if you prefer one smooth story line than this might not be for you. However, each of the story arcs, which is usually covered by several chapters, is very well put together and thought out. The mystery element is strong, where as the horror element is not. Horror can easily make me squeamish, but there's nothing bone chilling in here. There is some blood and random popping up of ghosts (but that is to be expected from the title I think). ... Each arc is basically a team of different kinds of 'ghost hunters' trying to solve some sort of ghost related problem and figure out why weird events are taking place.

The art isn't amazing, but it is somewhat likable, and does not in anyway hinder the story. (Expect large shoujo eyes and pretty looking characters).

The characters are very likable, though most of them do lack some depth. Details about these characters seem to be drawn rather reluctantly from the author, but that could just be because it is a work in progress, or because it is in the mystery genre...The protagonists are a high school girl (whose point of view we see the story from), and a young paranormal researcher who has a lot of fancy equipment, his own research center and is very self-centered. Other characters include and an atypical monk and a miko, a young priest, a spiritual medium, and a mysterious assistant.
