These are both phenomenon modern epics. They both have dark & gritty themes/premises. Iconic characters, gory action & incredible OSTs.
Both are dark storydriven shonen series with graphic imagery.
Both mc's are human and some sort of supernatural being, and they also kill those same supernatural beings. Both mc's also experience loss and overall the shows are extremely bloody. (This is based off episode 1 of csm)
