you are the only person that thinks that evangelion is overated, u just like me. I saw the anime and read the manga to understand why is so famous and I still think that is so boring. I don't like any characther and hate all the confusing fights and the difficult "story"

I mean sure, Beasters is full with Plot Holes (mostly season 2, it fking hurt watching this) the author didnt even try to explain anything properly at all.

Season 1 was far better for me, but still not amazing. Yet a more or less interesting concept and implementation.


But seriously your review and score looks like you said this is probably the worst show ever. Yet I would even put it on totally average. I mean even Season 2 was better than Darling in the Franxx, cant change my mind. And I don't hate any of those 2

I mean I get it, you have some personal issues with this Furry Stuff and I understand it. But Beasters was worlds better written than Darling in the Franxx. And tbh also superior to Abyss. Since Abyss focused 90% of the time of representing danger and cruelty, then actually building up the World and Characters.

So you prefer boring Evangelion/Birdy Copy and some shocking Gore Factor over actually psychological based shows?

As for Blue Period and Quintuplets, I understand why people disagree with me on both of them. I was very harsh to quintuplets to be fair, and I've been meaning to give it another go for a while now. As for Blue Period, it just ticked all of my boxes for a 10, but I also read it when I'd just come back from a trip to an art gallery I'd been wanting to visit for ~6 months, so I might have been biased. Still definitely a favourite of mine though. I don't feel as if it has to go anywhere specactularly, as to me then the manga is just like a showcase of the mc's life, and for me his goals and motivation are a part of that.

I'd literally just seen that one review and wanted to comment. Honestly my original score for Kakushigoto was a 5/10, which was why I made the comment, but after reading your review I decided that I'd been a bit too critical, and decided to look at it differently. I haven't seen much of your list, so I'll probably take a look now.

I love how we have the exact same reason for preferring manga reading.

I usually watch anime/read manga in the evening, and I can't sleep if I end up watching anime too late. I don't fully agree with your Kakushigoto review personally, because to me the constantly changing perspectives and the ongoing theme of psychological difficulties reminds me a lot of Kokoro Connect, which I'm not a massive of. It is definitely an interesting manga, but I've never been a fan of having that kind of theme as a focus, and feel that it can be very hard to portray accurately.

Not a review a manga kakukaku shikajika its only five volumes which I dont think is long by any stretch of the imagination

hold up lemme re trace my footsteps.

Its 5 volumes my guy I wouldnt exactly call the long by any means

I feel like there is something missing in Blue Period, the side characters only do stuff to progress the protagonist's story, that is when they do anything at all, everything goes by too fast, 2 whole years in less than 15(double) chapters, it also feels like there is little to no struggle with his problems, even the plot about his mother not wanting him to go to art school is resolved really nonchalantly.
Even though he's not amazing at art, this character is too damn perfect, he doesn't deal with anything that's too difficult for him to overcome, and in record time, he feels like a overpowered isekai protagonist.
