I first learned kana and a few kanji in 2015 (through self-study), then self-studied vocabulary and kanji from 2019 to 2022 (I got halted by drastic life circumstances and haven't managed to pick it back up since) while regularly doing immersion starting in 2020, which I also fell off on and don't do often anymore.
My reading used to be quite good but my kanji knowledge has significantly atrophied since then unfortunately. I've read quite a bit of manga (almost entirely of the 成年 variety so almost none of it I've bothered to put on my list) and visual novels in Japanese.
I've watched some raw anime (not much) and could follow it reasonably well most of the time, although my listening comprehension isn't great. I should also watch some more anime with Japanese subtitles (of which I have also watched very little)

I should really start using Anki... You probably should use it as well (if you aren't already, Anki is very good for learning and of course memorizing (hence the name) vocabulary and kanji)
I haven't dived into it yet but a friend who is also self-studying Japanese linked me this resource a while ago: https://learnjapanese.moe/ (chapter 2.4 of "Japanese Guide" concerns Anki)
I don't know what sort of self-study you're currently doing (if you aren't doing any, you probably should) but I hope you find these resources helpful!
