Oh, I am biased to talk about it. Right now, Fairies Albums is arguably my favourite donghua. I absolutely love it!! It is a mix of Natsume's Book of Friends and Mushishi. In my opinion, the lore is incredibly rich, and there's still so much left to uncover. The story is deeply emotional, and the soundtrack is an absolute 1000/10. I've got every song on repeat. That said, it's definitely a slice-of-life series, so it might not be everyone's cup of tea. Personally, I really love the main character, Tao Yao. She's got a strong personality and isn't afraid to be politically incorrect, which is good for a change. I genuinely cried in every single episode of the 2nd and 3rd seasons. 😅

I see. Oh yeah, Kingdom is a great example. S1 is really dreadful in of animation, but overall it is one of my favourite series. Are you caught up with the manga?

Honestly, it's kind of nice that there's always new content coming out. Starting a series from scratch is cool, but catching up on something with, say, 128 episodes can be tough. Still, I’ll definitely give it a shot once I wrap up a few of the shows I’m currently watching. I always seem to have too much on my plate. 😅

This one might be worth checking out. I feel like, 'How dare you?!' would work really well in a C-drama format.

Oh, really? I assumed that you liked 3D series based on your profile. Personally, I don't mind the CGI; it is not that bad, but most donghua I've watched are 2D. I actually heard good things about Xian Ni, but the number of episodes is putting me off a bit because it will be a long-term commitment.

Hey! if you are asking about the donghua. I find it pretty entertaining and hilarious so far, but it's probably not everyone's cup of tea. I'll pick it up now, but I had to put it on hold for almost a year because I couldn't find the following episodes. :)

No worries. It's happened to me before when I started to change my rating system. I came to a realisation that there were a few anime that I rated higher before compared to what I would rate similar shows now. Keeping a track of the ratings for every single anime in one's list is hard, so I sometimes go over my entire list in score order and make minor adjustments. Recency bias is another reason for high ratings which is quite common, I occasionally find my self changing the ratings of past seasonal shows to better match the rest of my list.
