Odd Taxi does not need to be defended.
You just need to read the review not 10, but 8 or 7. Then you will see a fairly objective view of the matter and that giving this anime 2 is damn unfair boi.

Thanks! I don't think I can think of another manga where I got so into the imagery to the point I tried to derive meaning from specific drawing techniques and stuff. I usually "just" appreciate manga like Berserk for having insanely gorgeous backgrounds that fit the epic scale of the story, or art like GANTZ that just looks cool.

Thank you for reading it! Honestly, that's a valid criticism; if I were focusing more on the plot events in my post I would definitely say I should have mentioned that. My focus this time around was more on the artwork telling the story, but when/if I ever do a more plot centric post on Blame! I'll try to that. I'm definitely reading NOiSE sometime soon, you're actually the second person to recommend it to me today so it's pretty high on my priorities list now haha.
