And yes I believe in that theory that I would personally gain more if I watched lots of small animes instead of seeing one of those big and long animes like the ones listed down below, there are god damn too many fillers!: (and that is the reason why my droplist is SO big XD) No snowball chance in hell I am going to watch those through! I am not saying that they are bad per se, but it is not my cup of tea ^^
Astroboy - Beyblade - Bleach - Cardfight!! Vanguard - Crayon Shin-chan - Detective Conan - Digimon - Doraemon - Dragonball - Fairy tail - Naruto - One Pierce - Pokemon - Sailor moon - Yu-gi-oh
And yes I KNOW that I have a long list of dropped mainly because of those mentioned above of all their entries XD
I know you normally set entries to be dropped when you have started to watch and then stop watching them but for me I use it as those animes I do not want to watch for various reasons :)
I am quite picky when it comes to movies, series and and anime therefore I give somewhat strict scores for anime. if you think that I gave an unfair score I wouldn´t mind if you asked me :3 I would LOVE To discuss about anime :D
Ein from Cowboy Bebop Why do I love Ein
Ein isn´t your typical ing character nor is he that cute animal mascot for the anime who doesn´t really contribute anything for the story but only there for being cute and for comedy... Well truth be told Ein is the main comedy element together with Edward but he does really contribute to the plotline itself, he saves the crew some times and he is an important catalyst for Edwards development.
He is Ein, a Einsteinish Corgi with more to offer than most ing characters combined :3 Also I love dogs but I had no interest for corgis but when I saw Ein... Well I fell in love with corgis even though noone can replace Ein :3 (even though I now at days watch a lot of corgi videos!)
So yeah beware, he is the cuteness of the Cowboy Bebop series and he will steal your heart ! ^^
Best quote: Well he can´t speak even though Edward is the only one really understanding him, but his vufs are still great XD
My favorite moment(s): Where Ein eats mushrooms.... I was sssooo dead by laughing!
Beatrice from Umineko no naku koro ni. Why do I love Beatrice.
Beatrice is not your average antagonist, she is intelligent, cunning, evil, manipulative and a very sadistic person, but is she really? In the battle against Battler more and more is shown, all the things that lies deep in her, her past. What is she, is she really a witch? Who is she really?
She is a fitting opponent for Battler who only barely somewhat defeated her.
I love her for her unique evilness, rarely I have experienced something as creepy as her laughter, but I also like her for being a deep character, she is not just pure evil, she is way more than that therefore it makes her quite interesting, so much mystery, so much to uncover, only guesses are to who she really is.
Best quote:: "In this world, there is no truth. The truth is made later on and overwrites what comes before it. Real truth doesn't exist anywhere."
My favorite moment: When Beatrice introduces the rule of the red, to show when she is telling the truth therefore forcing Battler to still be a part of the game because he cannot longer say that there is insufficient information. It really shows her deceiving nature and how she loves to play with Battler!
Yuno Gasai from Mirai Nikki Why do I love Yuno Gasai.
There is two reasons for why I love her.
- She is the manifestation of the expression "never judge a book by its cover"
- She cannot become more yandere than she is!
Yuno gasai was the main favorite thing of the show, she is the reason I recommend Mirai Nikki even though there are quite some plot flaws. Many have probably seen yandere character before but she takes the cake, the cake of the whole world! Love at its finest craziness. Even though she is so damn creepy there is still something about her that make her somewhat relatable and that is without any doubt her deep character, yes she wants to do anything for Yuki but she is quite splitted when it comes to how to save him (as revealed later in the anime). Yuki tries to balance between her madness, her inner monster, and then her humanity, her pure love.
Best quote:: "Honestly, I don't want someone to see the good in me, I want someone who sees the bad and still want me"
My favorite moment: When she reveals her madly love to Yuki in the god realm where she says "Don´t worry, I will protect you"
Tachikoma from Ghost of the Shell franchies. Why do I love Tachikomai.
Duly note that Tachikomai is more than one "person", in fact it is quite a handful robots of same model which once a day synchronizes so they have the same "consciousness". Tachikomai just like Ein is a ing character and the main element of comedy but they still contribute a lot to the maincast and also the plot as an important tool/weapon and also to explore the animes themes of AI and so on. I espeically loved the more standalone episode in season one where the one Tachikomai wonders off, that one was quite interesting :3
But so far I mostly like them for the comedy part, they are like children and explore the world with robot child eyes which makes it all that interesting. Also the Japanese voice for them is EPIC, really fitting!
Best quote:: Tachikoma 1: He’s so lucky! He broke down!
Tachikoma 2: Maybe they’ll do a structural analysis on him!
My favorite moment: When they tricked one of the more humanoids robots with the classic paradox test!!! XD XD XD
Rena from Higurashi no Naku koro ni. Why do I love Rena.
Well first thing first she reminds so much of myself being this really heartwarming but still shy and somewhat clumsy weird girl, ones who tries her best to be the best friend and on the other hand trying to hide her own feelings, so strong are her feelings that they tend to burst out in one explosion.
She is really truly the only one who are the closest to be the ally of Keiichi even in her "insane moments" she often is the one who warns him.
On the other hand she is clever and quite observant and because of her strong feelings she can be quite reliably in the dangerous moments and she is not afraid to use her lovely weapon especially for protecting her friends, she knows what is the most important thing and that is friendship.
So yeah overall she is a deep character and even though some of the other characters are quite awesome she is the one who won my heart ^^
Best quote::"Friends. Those companions you speak of are only friends during those fun, yet unimportant times. When painful times come, they won't be your ally."
My favorite moment: In the beginning of the series where Keiichi is out helping her, where he reads the old newspaper about murder and where she stands there not far behind him with her cleaver.
Johann Liebert from Monster. Why do I love Johann Liebert.
Face it you will never get to understand him, never really truly, and you are not worthy for him, not even as a stupid plaything. He is the most intelligent anime antagonist of all time, but is he really truly an villian, a monster? That is indeed the question.
But mark my words if you have not seen Monster and then watch it, Johann will be a name that will forever make your spine shiver. As charismatic he is, just as creepy and dangerous he is. You will never be able to beat him nor understand his ways, but one cannot deny he is a philosophical man and nothing can truly stop him.
Johann Liebert is my favorite "villain" of all time, nothing beats his mysterious mind and charisma.
Best quote::"The big secret to breaking the rules is to make it look as though you're following them."
My favorite moment: The scene him and against Tenma in the burning house... I don´t wanna say more.
Integra was normally the one who was my favorite but even though Integra and Balalaika are so much alike (like sisters), Balalaika is way more deep and way more dangerous than Integra, Integra is just a woman with a big dangerous dog(alucard) at her side to command but Balalaika she is dangerous just by herself even though she has her "army"/Russian mafia under her command.
She is the woman, whom you would not like to step over her toes! She will kill you, brutally.
What makes her good is that she is really that strong independent woman, she has her past, she is wise and holds control over her people because she is a good leader, she has proven her worth, but she is also that type who tend to be really dangerous when getting bored :P And also it takes a lot to get her respect
Best quote::"Sorry. is difficult to those who came to power through money rather than skill. Better write your name on a dollar bill so I could it."
My favorite moment: In the second season where she is so damn close to kill Rokurou on the car, so scary! and really shows that she doesn´t need her men to do things for her.
Griffith from Berserk Why do I love Griffith.
For me Griffith is somewhat the forefather of Johann, they share many similarities especially - They are both charismatic as hell and knows how to manipulate and understand how people tick - They both have a goal which no commoner will ever be able to really understand - They are both mysterious with a deep dark past and therefore have quite an unique look upon the wold - Also are they both really villains?
For me I do not see Griffith as a villain and why is not something for me to spoil, watch the original berserk and you will see :) Griffith is just like Johann, a created monster of their circumstances, especially by people. I liked Guts and the other characters of the series but Griffith took me by a storm just as he took Guts under his wings.
Best quote::"It is my perception that a true friend never relies on another’s dream. A person with the potential to be my true friend must be able to find his reason for life without my help. And, he would have to put his heart and soul into protecting his dream. He would never hesitate to fight for his dream, even against me. For me, a true friend is one who stands equal on those ."
My favorite moment: Without spoiling I will say it vaguely: The ending where he truly takes his revenge, only a mastermind with a wicked mind would do something like it.:P
Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky IV from Cowboy Bebop Why do I love Edward.
Well many great characters are from Cowboy bebop but one who really stood out besides Faya is Edward, the androgynous about 13 old girl which you will never really understand. She is so young, how can she be a deep and great character? Well you will never understand her because she is the real true free spirit, the real anarchist.
Edward... you cannot put her in a box, trust me, I would be afraid of the consequences because of her very intelligent, crazy mind, she could do about anything.
She has no grain of evilness in her but her free spirit and sometimes quite naive nature makes her into a chaos factor, the butterfly effect.
But anyway she makes the best hilarious moments in the anime often together with Ein as a partner in crime :3
Best quote:: “Lesson lesson. If you see a mysterious stranger, follow him.” That really reflects her mind, how she tick.
My favorite moment: About everything she does because she does it so unique in her totally own way!
Bayonetta from Bayonetta Why do I love Bayonetta.
Okay I have to be honest.... it is all about the sexiness...... She is the one in my top 10 as being my best guilty pleasures... She is not a bad character per se, she is unique, has her past, she developes and such.... But yeah lets face it, I love her because of her badass kickarseness and her true pure sexiness especially in English dub.
She reminds me of Anne Robinson from the weakest link in a alternative dimension, that british accent is just earcandy and I would LOVE her as my dominatrix! Really... god bless that such sexy women doesn´t live near me, I would on the very first second end up being a slave XD
What makes her sexy?
- Her gorgeous british accent - her way of speaking - she has a lovely costume which apparently is made out of her hair so yeah sometimes it dissapears! *Dreamy dreamy* - She can sure kick arse and being quite powerful. - Also even though she is quite harsh, she has her soft side. - Also she is my first woman where I simply adore her for wearing those sexy teacher glasses *pls teach me Sensei*!
Best quote:: “Little one" whenever she says that, I just drool.
My biggest hate for especially one character makes up for all the others... That honor belongs to the only must dreadful arrogant bastard in the entire animeuniverse!!!: Excaliber from Soul Eater
Mozgus from Berserk 2016 I have always hated fanatically religious people who do such gruesome things for religion. But for me... He was very creepy, even more creepy than the demon horse in this anime! and that says a lot! >.< Pls brutally die!
Wooser from Wooser no Sono Higurashi
He is delusional, lazy as f**k!, arrogant, no empathy, he only loves meat, girls, money and girl uniforms. He is somewhat a little brother to Excaliber
Adon Coborlwitz from Berserk. He is so god damn annoying because of his arrogance and how fanatical he is about his "ancestors" techniques, and they are so stupid>.<
Digital hell - Crossover Code Geass, Death note and portal.

Sometimes I wish these adaptations gets a well written short run instead of the numerous seasons with branching arcs. 🤷♂️
Just finish watching season 3 or Oregairu.
