Hi! I really liked your "How to make anime" guide! The first part contains good general tips that are also useful for writing short stories.

And I'm glad you liked Nausicaä. Whether it counts as Ghibli or not it's a favorite for me.

Well, it was aeons ago, so they mainly did it the old-fashioned way with hand-written schedules & storyboards, sketches, cels, pencils, ink & acrylic colours.

And unfortunately, due to lack of an actual talent on my side(?), it led to nothing *sniff*

P. S: I should add that it was a "regular" Western style studio but the procedure can be transposed, and the used materials are the same, aren't they?

I can some photos/examples if you like. (Hoping I don't violate some old copyrights, but as the company is sadly defunct by now, it shouldn't be such a big issue anymore...)

Did I mention that I actually did an internship at an Animation studio?

Will your HTMA Reviews include some kind of "Choosing the right materials" section (which pencils, ink etc. are the best for which kind of style and so on) and/or about the constant threat of keeping Deadlines?

If yes, I'd recommend to use the "Sailor Moon" episode with those two BFF's which were actually working at an Animation studio, the "Golden Boy" episode with the other Animation company and the Mangaka-father from "Love Trouble" as references :-)
