Where is Snake when you need him?

Actually, I think it was John Redcorn's voice actor. Dale's VA died in 2023. That show is cursed! Luanne's VA also died super young!

I'm glad you're enjoying Maison!

Not really. I would have to disagree with ol’Ted. In most aspects, the Industrial Revolution has led to a healthier, longer living, more educated Humanity with more time for self improvement, the arts, and entertainment. It has however had devastating effects on the planet though. There are actually a number of academics who would say that ultimately, Humanity would have been better off in the longterm having never developed agriculture and keeping it simple.

It's been slowly dying for years.

Japan should make sure they’re accepting immigrants who will be tolerant of local customs and traditions. Otherwise it will just cause needless friction. If someone ionately hates Christianity and wants to vandalize churches, they shouldn’t move to the Southern US. That’s just not going to end well for anyone.

He does seem pretty funny.

That would actually be badass. They have a giant ground sloth skeleton in the Smithsonian and it's fucking MASSIVE.

Sorry, I've been off MAL all week since my work has gotten kind of nuts lately. That's an interesting question. The traditional response is generally along the lines of "Every creature in nature has an important role in the ecosystem and contributes to the health and biodiversity of its native region". However, this line of thinking is getting close to Intelligent Design. The Earth's ecosystem is not a perfectly operating machine, and some species are actually way more important to the ecosystem than others. Nature published an article over 10 years ago saying that the ecological impact of mosquito extinction would likely be negligible. So, to get back to your question, it's possible that the mass extinction of certain species could overall be beneficial. If you wanted to be a 2009 Redditor, the obvious answer is humans, but beyond us there are plenty of insect species to choose from.

I saw your comments on LiteratureNerd’s and looking at your list you seem like a critically minded guy. I’m trying to start a club and discord server for analytical anime fans: https://myanimelist.sitesdebloques.com/clubs.php?cid=92948

lol, that is pretty hilarious with the AI Ghibli art. Not gonna lie. I have no idea why someone would try to use wealth and prosperity as an argument for Christianity. A nation, people, or individual converting to Christianity is not going to boost wealth and prosperity, nor is that the point. That guy can just look at countries by GDP per capita or HDI or any measurable index. South Sudan is a Christian nation, yet God has not seen fit to make them wealthier than Shinto pagans.

Most major Christian nominations would say...basically. I would tend to agree. It strays very far from Christianity's core message. Personal wealth is ultimately unimportant to all of the Abrahamic faiths. Since most forms of Christianity don't strictly require asceticism, you CAN be a good follower and happen to be wealthy. However, that's largely incidental. You can be rich and be a complete piece of shit. You can be poor and be an ideal practitioner of your faith and bound for eternal reward.

I’m way too cheap to buy a Tesla. I have a 2020 Nissan Kicks.

Hi, I'd recommend watching episodes 1 - 38 of the TV series. There is an episode 39 but most of it is repeated in the second movie. After that you have the movies. The first movie, A is a recap movie and not really needed; there are 2 character deaths changed, but that is it. The second movie, Be Invoked is the ending.
It’s time to ditch the text file.
