Winners of the 2016 Newtype Anime Awards were announced at the Machi Asobi event. The winners were selected by fans in magazine and online polls. The participants were anime and anime movies that aired or opened between October 2015 and September 2016.

@jackaus Wow Delta is on the list....

Something surprise me is that Delta didn't get sound award but got screenplay... What the hell....

Character design wise, yep good job to the girl who did it.

Mecha design was lazy as hell and still got awards. GG. Me mad bro.

Yeap, yeap, screen play it certainly doesn't deserve... second half of the thing drags it down even one argue first half is ok... then, it wasn't in sound track? They may picked the wrong ops (most of its insert songs are way better than op) but the music/sound is perhaps the only thing it holds up to certain quality compare to past macross.

No Joker Game, no Rakugou, no 91Days... and they were quite easily the best show of the last few seasons.

Re:Zero I can accept its popularity, even if I find it totally overhyped and overrated. It's good, but clearly not a masterpiece like all fan believes...

But Kabaneri and Macross Delta... like, no please. Just no.

At least there is Konosuba, Gintama (but it's not surprising at all) and Durararax2

Kabaneri 1-2 = Damnnnnnnnnnnn, Hype!
Kabaneri 3-7 = Nice! I'm still enjoying this show.
Kabaneri 8-10 = Alright, Okay, Mhhh, Ummm

Rem number 1 in both FemCharacter and FemVA. Well deserved. Say what you want about Re:Zero but Rem was a solid character.
