This series focus on kingdom building, so the poly romance might feel politically driven at first, but the protagonist does not ignore the heroines' affections. However, the series focus more on the idea of harem with politics rather than romance, so readers might feel a lack of romantic development even if there is a harem with romance. The highlight is the shenanigans with an overpowered protagonist that is very involved with nobility. Note that when I say the protagonist is involved with nobility, he is thoroughly involved. Readers might actually get irritated that the protagonist tries to follow the rules and regulations of people weaker ... than him just because they are of a high authority. The protagonist might even appear to be a pushover. But regardless, I find it every entertaining and human to watch the protagonist struggle in various political incidents. The downside would be that the story might be too mundane at times because it leans a lot on slice-of-life.

The light novel is a long-running series with 30 volumes that had a lot of twists and turns and currently still on-going, so expect a lot of good developments as the manga adaption progresses.

If you are an impatient person I do not recommend this manga, as the writing of this review, the age of the characters in the story is 15, so you are looking for echi romance / harem you ... will not find it here.

The story puts much emphasis into the social status of the people in this world and how it works, arranged marriages, property owning, etc...

The MC IS a bit overpowered, though it's not to say that he doesn't work hard for his power.

An excellent read for someone looking into the "other world" type of manga.

A generic Isekai story that doesn't really try to do anything new or innovative with the genre.

The characters of the story don't really have a lot of individuality, and feel more like slaves to the Main Character's every move. Every female character introduced falls for the main character without any backstory or encounters that explain why they have a crush on him, they literally just like be because he exists. The male ing main characters around him also love him, though they at least have a little more reason to do so than the females, either from spending a lot of time in ... school with him, or sharing a mutual connection with him through his deceased teacher.

The plot in this story basically doesn't exist, the main character has NO aspirations in his new life in a fantasy world, besides just separating his attachment to his family. Its not like he has any issues with his family or anything, he just wants to be independent and unassociated with his family for no reason. The story then just divulges into the Main character just kinda going with the flow and dealing with whatever comes up, but nothing really creates any sort of plot, just meaningless activities without proper build up or suspense.

As for the battles and magic of this series, they're under developed and boring as hell. There is no magical system to explain how everything works or to add depth and excitement to when the Main character learns new spells. The only thing they ever mention is the different elements of magic and how each one can counter its opposite, but besides that they never add any sort of complexity to it to make things fun and interesting. As far as the battles go they're pretty lack luster in all elements, the Main character tends to defeat enemies within very few moves or even a single move most of the time, and even then there's no build up to those moves to make it satisfying. Its just very lack luster and unsatisfying work that feels like it was written by someone thats very disinterested with this series as a whole.

Overall this series isn't really worth your time to read. If you're super board and just want to waste some time, then go ahead and read it, but otherwise its best to just go find something else to read.
