After watching the largely unknown Karasuno High School overwhelmingly win a volleyball practice match, soon-to-be first-year high school student Shouyou Hinata aspires to their team as the ace. Unfortunately, his short stature and lack of experience in playing any sort of official game earns him the ire of Karasuno's current , including the team's famous setter Tobio Kageyama. Determined to prove that he has what it takes—and with a strong desire to show Kageyama he is wrong—Hinata begins to train and hone his skills in order to soar above them all.

So this ONESHOT is what became the foundation of the legendary volleyball series

Well if you were to tell me that this "ONE-SHOT" will one day be one of the highest-rated manga, I would've probably kept my distance.

It's not that, it is bad or anything, it's just that unlike the actual "Haikyuu" where there is a lot of emphasis on dialogue, character personalities, and the depth of the matches.

This one feels empty, and maybe even fake.

I read the one-shot of Attack on Titan, and it also felt the same.

There's a lot of "story" smothered into a single chapter, and that's what makes it seem ...
