I read the first chapter as a joke because... Well look at the title.

This is not a deep manga, but god its fast paced and super cute. There is little drama, the artwork has only a handful of blood splatters, and the character interactions are entirely wholesome.

Jade-kun is just a gigantic sweetie who just needs the push of the cute, 🥳 unsexualized (thank god) 🥳, loli dragon he adopts to hold a conversation and get closer with his favourite guild receptionist - another sweetie pie.

There is very little of substance here, the MC starts age 12 in the first chapter and ends age 24?? ... in the first chapter and is also now crazy OP. The few moments of tension are romantic moments and minor drama but there is never anything on the line.

Recommended for a (as of this review, short) easy read for those who like romantic stories that fulfill themselves quickly. Story is cute, art is cute, characters are all cute. Can't see this ever being better than a 7.

I’ll be honest: Although I love the romance genre, I prefer subtle ones that develop in later chapters. To add to this, I’ve only read ones with drama or a harem, so this is one of the few romance mangas I’ve read with no other competing love interest.

The manga is jammed packed with wholesome moments while progressing in character or plot. It’s a nice read considering there’s actual progress in relationships, and the story containing other plot points besides romance. If there was a fault, then it would stem from the predictability/lack of originality. On a side note, the mc can definitely be “cringy” ... or “simp-like” which can definitely turn people off; but he gets better and do note that it’s the love of his life in front of him, of course he’s not going to be calm minded. Anyway, enjoy a rather wholesome read.

I saw this on a manga recap and I thought to myself, “why tf am I watching a recap and not reading this crap”

Uketsukejou ni Kokuhaku shitakute Guild ni Kayoitsumetara Eiyuu ni Natteta or in English: I wanted to Confess to the Receptionist, but When I Went to the Guild, I Became a Hero is a normal slice of life if not fantasy manga about Jade our main Protagonist who has a very small balls and his first love a receptionist at a guild. The world is set on fantasy setting where magic and demons, demi-human, dragon, etc, etc. Yep, I guess we all know where is this going.

First of all the story wasn't good nor bad. It starts of pretty much the same, our Protagonist love our ... main heroin the Receptionist which (I'm sorry if I being rude) is a typical Onee-san we can find many of them in a certain fantasy anime. To be honest, we can find some if not Many similar plot like this one but in different setting and all. We always got the same type of protagonist which lack some balls and a heroin which is just so charming. Yet even if we objectively say this anime is average/bad/trash/copy paste and all. We still can't deny the existence of some if not Many people in which enjoyed this type of story. For myself, i like reading this kind of story when I was depressed or just trying to find someway to kill time and enjoy relaxing time without using my brain. Besides, This type of story always bring a light headed presence in which many people could enjoy while relaxing in the meantime.

The art style of the manga was quite good or should I say somewhere above average. No things such as Vulgar image and anything. My eyes are saved from many things and relieved from weird and abstract art which I happen to see while searching some fanart of my waifu T-T. it is pretty standard for many manga around the globe which is good and enjoyable to watch.

To Sums up the review. I could say this manga was pretty much average when I read it after reading something similar to this. But when it comes down to 'Reading it for relieve' I must say this one works pretty well.
