I've deleted a few nonsense posts from this thread already in a couple of minutes. I know how much E8 (or just Haruhi in general) upsets some people, but try not to spam up this news thread with crap, please. If you have legitimate concerns, feel free to voice them, but try to be mature and intelligent about it. |

I had a feeling this was gonna happen... I guess this is how they make their money back, which is a pretty smart move. Just sucks that we had to suffer through all of that crap in order to be rewarded with some promising news. Shame all of us fansub watchers will have to wait till Fall 2010, in order to get the DVD release. Unless some decides to leak it. ^_^ |

it keeps on surprising me how much they troll the Haruhi series. Honestly, is there no end to it? (bad pun is bad). And doing this to a decent anime like Haruhi. They could have made a Mars of destruction movie instead. |

I've no complaints if it's similar to the high points of the first and second seasons, because i would be lying if i said i didn't enjoy most of the first series, and a few episodes of the second. |

Watch as hundreds of people line up to watch the movie, sit down, and suddenly are force fed another 2 hours of E8. Theaters should also chain the doors shut or strap people to their chairs. In all seriousness however, I'm really looking forward to this. Disappearance with a movie budget should be nothing short of phenomenal. |

Woah, first 00, then UBW and now Haruhi. 2010 is the year of movies. I just want the old animation style, please no more K-ON Haruhi. Please. |

Sometime in the middle of production, one guy thought up a plan on how to rake in more money with Haruhi, so decided to cut dissapearance from the TV and instead make a movie. I'm completely disillusioned with the series, and will probably not watch this movie unless I know it is "safe" beforehand. |

Really. I'm quiet serious. Stop posting crap in this thread. Yes, it's big news, but really, if you have nothing to say about the series/movie, please don't bother posting. I've deleted over a dozen posts from this thread after my previous warning. Just... don't hit the "post message" button if you don't have anything on topic to say. |

Sohei said: It's reasonable to assume that this won't run along smoothly. I definitely don't think they're going to just announce this and toss it out there come Spring 2010. With Haruhi there has always been gimmicks. However, I also don't think Disappearance will never receive a proper release. Out of all the novels it's one of the most popular so Kadokawa and KyoAni would have to be beyond retarded to blow such a chance. But what are the chances they'll troll you sometime along the lines? So yea, when Spring 2010 rolls around we might get another "LOL UR MOVIE HAZ DISAPPEARED" kind of announcement. But when it actually gets released (maybe when I'm on my death bed) it should be fine. |

I expect this to be as visually stunning, if not more so, than End of Evangelion.

MEGATRON said: Disappearance was my favorite part of the novels, I hope that it doesn't end up getting rushed to fit in to the length of a movie, but I'm happy to see it getting animated either way. I don't think that it'll end up getting rushed - I've always felt like a movie would be the perfect medium for the dissapearance. Also, the novel is pretty short compared to the other ones as far as I , so it should not be a problem. |

I'll watch this when it comes out on the assumption that it's what season 2 should have been. Haruhi is the only property I've seen from KyoAni that I've actually liked, so I am somewhat excited to see how it looks with a movie budget from their already quite good production staff. I just hope they use either season 1's character designs or completely new ones, as long as they look better than this season's K-ON faces. |

We're obviously not going to be able to watch this until it comes out on DVD, so it's going to be well over a year. Unless some Japanese guy camrip it like they did with Evangelion. |

Are people still pissed about Endless Eight? If you don't like it, don't watch it, but don't be a stupid butt hurt and be ''offended'' by the shit. You're on the internet, for crying out loud, you should know how to manage trolling. On topic: OH YES HARUHI THIRD COMING!! I want to see this as soon as possible. |

Ok, Disappearance is probably the BEST Haruhi novel, imo. However, I can't trust anything Kyoani says now so... If it does get released, then FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF until then, judgment reserved |
