Sexy Commando Gaiden: Sugoi yo!! Masaru-san

Why does nobody talk about this show?

1. It's funny
2. No drama
3. Very good pacing
4. High energy
5. "Wanchu, clean up princess" – a reference from the anime

This is a very enjoyable show. It's a real hidden gem with an original story and unique characters.

... As a huge fan of gags, parody, humor, comedy, and funny shows, I really love it – Wanchu!

Unfortunately, it has two drawbacks:

- First, it's an old anime from 1998 (not their fault).
- Second, it's very, very short.

Luckily, there's a compilation available on YouTube.

And of course, the story ends with a lot of unresolved mysteries.

This anime is gold, pretty much. It stars slow, but once you get in the first arc you will be overwhelmed with the enjoyment of these nonsensical jokes, stereotypical characters and whatever else the writers of this show wanted.

In my opinion there was only one or two bad arcs but they didn't change my opinion about the show because there is so much good stuff. Most of the story arcs are well-handed with much fun ,randomness that drives the plot and the intensity of the most emotional and stupid moments.

Art: 10/10

The anime is pleasing in its design and its ... visual effects. It has some really great soundtrack for every type of scene, fitting perfectly.

This anime gave me great joy for the amount of effort you could that was put into it. Things were never predictable and when they were, they were hilarious.

So I began watching this anime because I just felt like I needed to laugh at something.

To tell you the truth.....the anime is bizarre af like the amount of things each lad was saying or the pointless tiny scenes included in anime involved "how to play the ukulele". Not once did I laugh at this bizzare anime. I didn't necessarily think it was that funny or entertaining.

Each episodes at 8 minutes were pretty much rushed and the art quality was just horrendous. They could've at least ask the crowd who did Golden Boy to come up with better artists and great actual jokes.

Yeah it's disappointing ... that this anime didn't satisfy me enough to watch it as I did have high hopes like any anime that is well received. I think fans of "Daily Lives of High School Boys" will like this anime because both have simular settings. Well regardless of what people like, watch this anime and see for yourself!
