Mushikaburi-hime

For generations, the Bernstein family has been recognized as a house of nobles who favor books over everything else. Elianna Bernstein, daughter of a baron of the Sauslind Kingdom, is no different. But instead of being called a bookworm, she is known as the Bibliophile Princess.

Four years ago, the crown prince, Christopher Selkirk Asherald, offered Elianna a special arrangement: if she would become his fiancée, he promised that she could continue to spend all her free time reading. Despite having to inherit a title of great responsibility, she agreed to the proposal, enticed by the prospect of gaining access to the royal archives housing a wide selection of books.

To this day, Elianna firmly believes that her engagement is void of romantic sentiment. When she notices Christopher's interactions with another girl, she presumes that the days she spends with him will soon reach an end. Yet, during this period of uncertainty, Elianna and Christopher open a new chapter in their relationship, gradually uncovering their genuine feelings as they grow to better understand each other.

i won't say that this is excellent but it was good !!as the story is nice kind of felt slow paced (maybe because i am used to fast paced) !the art is decent enough !!the plot itself is okay as there were many instances when it felt like someone was bullying the female lead!! it was kind of sad to watch but the end result or should i say the character development was satisfying !! the side characters were also nice as they get got less screentime as the side characters should get !! so as for me it's -6.6 stars / 10 stars !! ... it's a lighthearted casual romance slightly political story with a happy end!!

Now, let’s break down this anime.

If you're looking for a light romance to the time, this is a great option. But , nothing memorable—just a nice way to kill some time.

Let’s get into the flaws: the characters are one-dimensional. They are exactly what they appear to be and nothing more—no layers, no depth. The whole concept of the anime revolves around misunderstandings. Elianna misunderstands something, gets upset, gives up on everything, only to find out she was wrong. This pattern repeats itself and gets tiring.

The main characters don’t experience any growth throughout the anime. Elianna is the best example of this—she starts and ends the anime naive, believing whatever people tell her. Their romance could have progressed more, but instead, the time is wasted on misunderstandings. They could have focused on something more meaningful.

That said, let’s talk about the good: the romance itself is enjoyable because it doesn’t take long to happen, although there’s little development after that. The characters, especially the main ones, are beautiful, and the setting is pleasant.

In conclusion, this is an anime just to the time and enjoy Elianna’s cuteness and how pretty she is.

Solid 6/10.

Bom agora vamos ao que foi esse anime

Para você que busca um romance para ar o tempo, este é uma ótima opção, mas lembre, nada memorável, apenas um a tempo legal.

Vamos ao joio, os personagens são unilaterais, ou seja, todos são o que são e nada mais, não possuem camadas ou facetas diferentes, todos eles são exatamente o que aparentam e se resumem a isso.
O conceito do anime gira em torno de mal entendidos, Elianna entende algo errado, faz drama, desiste de tudo so para descobrir que não era bem assim, isso se torna repetitivo e começa a cansar.
A os personagens principais não tem evolução alguma durante o anime, Elianna é o melhor exemplo disso, começa e termina o anime ingênua e acreditando em tudo que falam.
O romance deles poderia ter tido mais avanços, no lugar de tanto mal entendido, poderiam ter usado esse tempo para algo mais proveitoso.

Dito tudo isso, vamos ao trigo, a parte mais agradável é o romance em si, porque não enrola muito para acontecer, embora tenha pouca evolução.
Os personagens principalmente os protagonistas são lindos.
A ambientação é agradável.

Com isso chegamos a conclusão, que é um anime meramente para ar tempo e se divertir com a fofura da Elianna e o quão linda ela é.

I love this genre deeply, but sadly this anime was almost impossible to finish for me. I'm the kind of person that can finish a 700 page book even if I don't like it just to have the experience but I felt absolutely no attachment to the characters or plot at all. The first 4-5 episodes are entirely retrospective in a really disassociating way, it's almost like it was a whole season plot that happened off screen. The characters and story are COMPLETELY flat but don't even have that charming element that keeps me going regardless that usually happens in this genre. Rated 3 bc ... I like the IDEA of the bibliophile princess & art was very pretty. A million other anime in this genre I would recommend, I've just seen them all already lol.
