My first donghua that isn't Link Click, lol, and it felt pretty unique compared to other shows~ there's a degree of "awkwardness" to the story pacing and animation, but it was an enjoyable watch nonetheless. It's surprisingly quite funny and the heroine is definitely a highlight~ she's very quirky and I loved how she's not afraid to stand up for herself and her friends. The male lead's main draw is that he looks a bit like Hijikata from Hakuoki, lol- he's rather flat as a character and more forceful than I like for most of the runtime. I'd say the romance between he and the heroine itself is flimsy until the last couple episodes... and then it abruptly ends just as it's starting to develop nicely, boo >o<""

I do see that there's another season for this confirmed, but I'm disappointed that it seems that they're switching to a 3D animation style for it :C But anyways, for what this first season was, I liked it well enough and I'm committed to giving more donghua a watch in the future~ 7.5/10.
